One day we'll stop bashing one wrestler because another one isn't being used like it's their fault or something. No one gives a F*** about Jeff Jarrett in 2022. They didn't care when he was a country star, when he was a Horsemen, when he tried to get slapnuts over, when he was the Chosen One, his reign of terror in TNA, and sure as hell didn't care about his gold scam. I give many f***s about Jeff Jarrett in 2022. Crotchety evil cowboy JJ is awesome.

Unbelievable that they have nothing for Miro to do. This guy was one of their most over talents back in 2021 and even 2022 yet Khan can find a single storyline to do with him? There are so many places they can go with his character and the average fan can easily come up with something for him to do like feuds with Wardlow or Samoa Joe. I see people bringing up Jarret and while it may seem harsh to bring him up to knock down in favor of another wrestler, I get the point being made that a past his prime Jeff Jarret getting TV time over young talent is a bad look. I mean the same issue would apply if this were WWE or WCW back in the day.

Yeah it absurd that they seemingly cannot find ANYTHING for him to do.

Someone on this board said
“ Dude just got an extension and pay raise, you don't do that with a guy without a plan”
Welp, Money well spent I guess

They are wrong, he's off filming the next 6 star wars movies and he's the lead role, and he's also playing every other role as well

The former Lana plays all the female roles. In seriousness though, not having someone of his talent do anything on your show is a waste. I'm not sure if WWE now under new management would treat him better or not, but if he hadn't signed the extension I would say he should at least have given it a try. And this is coming from someone that's liked the guy ever since he was on NXT and in his NXT debut against Ziggler almost 10 years ago broke a piece of wood with Ziggler's name on it during his entrance.

How on earth can creative find nothing for this man? Very odd.

I’m not going to be in this thread much so I wanted to say my piece.
Would I love Miro to be back? Yes. He is one of my dudes.
Would I have loved him to be the guy to face OC for the belt on Rampage? F*** no, man. A guy they’ve built up shouldn’t be the surprise title challenger to OC and likely lose.
He absolutely should be in a big angle and as sad as I am about him not being around as much, I also don’t want him on TV for the sake of being on TV. It has to mean something somewhat.

Yeah him losing to OC on Rampage would have been pointless. I don’t think anyone would disagree with that. The issue is more him being absent for months at a time with a random match here and there and it now coming out that he’s not injured or busy with other things, creative just doesn’t have anything for him.

And there is honestly no reason they can't fit him into a storyline somehow. Hell Wardlow vs Miro or even Miro against Powerhouse Hobbs could be a great hoss feud. The roster is certainly deep enough that they can find some good talent for him to feud with.

This just isn't true at all You hate Jeff Jarrett and don't want to see him, that doesn't mean that the general wrestling public feels the same way, and you're projecting that everyone feels the same way. You do this with a lot of wrestlers you hate or have given up on I've noticed. Just gonna chime in that Jeff Jarrett is actually pretty awesome. I think like 80% of that is his My World theme (which is IMO the best theme in wrestling, or definitely top five). His entrance at Full Gear had a modified version of My World that was actually chill-inducing, and if he'd stuck to that and his Last Outlaw persona... I'd have actually had him win that match and then put him in the main event scene on a temporary basis. I remember watching it and thinking that if MJF really was going on a face run (slim chance but yeah), Jarrett might have actually been the perfect opponent for him at Revolution. I recognize that some people will read this and go "well, that guy is batshit crazy" but if you saw the reaction he got and the general vibe of the moment...yeah, I could have seen him challenging for the AEW title on PPV and the match having incredible heat (as nobody in the AEW fanbase would want to see the honcho of TNA win their title).

As far as Miro goes, the problem with Miro is similar to the problem with Wardlow. Both are supposed to be these borderline-unstoppable dudes who rarely if ever lose. It's difficult to write around multiple characters like that. It's also difficult to keep characters like that away from titles, and once they get a title, that title is now basically locked up with them. So it's difficult to have someone like that on the show unless they're in a major program and going on a tear.

According to Dave its not true. They had something but Miro didnt want it, so they are working on something else.

According to Dave its not true. They had something but Miro didnt want it, so they are working on something else. Something to note is that the only frame of reference for what that "something" was, is "better than what Ethan Page is getting". As I understand it, Ethan Page isn't doing TOO badly right now but he's a completely different type of wrestler than Miro, you don't book those guys the same way.

As I understand it, Ethan Page isn't doing TOO badly right now but he's a completely different type of wrestler than Miro, you don't book those guys the same way. Page is in a pretty good spot: he gets microphone time, he wins most of his matches, but clearly the end goal of his current arc is him putting Starks over, which he did in the tournament, and I presume he might do after (potentially) costing Starks the title next Wednesday. Doing that with Miro? Given his character and how OP he's presented, that'd be a tough needle to thread. It's tough to book a killer who thrives on seeming nigh-invincible, since coming back into a feud he's not going to win likely hurts his aura. And now with House of Black back and likely needing a chance to reestablish themselves before taking a major loss, too, it probably just complicates things further. Still think there has to be something, but they also might just not want to drop him into the middle of a PPV build season without something really notable he can sink his teeth into for a few months leading to the next big show. But obviously we're all only guessing at this point. Still miss seeing the dude.
