Just something to come to mind watching PPV reviews of past WCW events.
Yes, APA have the notoriety being part of the major boom of the Attitude Era, but Doom could arguably be considered a more tight in-ring unit.

I missed all of Doom’s run when I was a kid as I was a WWF kid with no access to WCW, so with that I have to say APA by default.
I have been going back and watching old NWA/WCW shows now and I do appreciate them as a team, but I still would go with APA.

Doom and pretty easily. APA were funny with backstage stuff but in ring and overall Doom blows them out of the water. Simmons was much more in his prime and Reed was better then Bradshaw.

Doom, for sure. APA was presented well as badasses, but I couldn't tell you one of their matches off of memory.

Doom and it's not even close. Also, Honestly one of my favorite wrestling favorite themes ever. It was a big downgrade when they switched it to the far inferior "Don't Step to Ron" from the Slam Jam album for Simmons theme. Along with Barry Windham's Smokin the only two tracks on the album I didn't like.

Doom, mainly because that was the time when the promotion gave a damn about tag teams and tag team wrestling. I'm sure that if Simmons and Hawk/JBL/Bradshaw were working together in the same time they'd have a more memorable run.

I had no idea Doom were this popular or respected, is there any of their shit outside the Network that I could see?

Doom was the better team, but the APA was way more entertaining for me.

Here's one split up from WWE's YouTube: Oh my god against prime Steiners? At least let me buy you dinner first The build-up to Doom being introduced was fun. Rick was dating Nancy Benoit. I think if I remember correctly got Scott to meet her somewhere, and Doom attacked him in a parking lot. It could have been Rick too, but it's been 30 something years.
