Aubrey Edwards and Alisha Edwards - no relation
(yeah, wasn't really thinking straight when I did that lol)
Also, Bobby Lashley is still doing occasional MMA fights in this universe, but is also under contract with the NWA. Because I WAS going to bring him back to WWE, but there's not really a place for him in a Kenny/Fiend dominated company. So he's around, but used sparingly atm

NWA Powerr, November 19th, 2019 – Quick Results Ricky Starks def. Laredo Kid Sienna def. Alexxiss Bliss Reno S.C.U.M. def. Alex Zayne and Blake Christian Mr. Anderson def. Willie Mack (Anderson wins with a low blow behind the referee’s back)
NWA Impact Wrestling, November 20th, 2019 We open this week’s edition of Impact with Laura Dennis making her way to the ring, to a chorus of boos. Her opponent tonight is Santana Garrett. The two women lockup and jockey for position early on, with Dennis getting the advantage. We begin to see her more unhinged side as she scratches and claw’s at Garrett’s face, and rips at her hair, while screaming maniacally the entire time. Eventually, the referee is forced to pull her back, but Laura screams at him, pushes him aside and stomps back over to Garrett. She continues to scratch and even bites her, again forcing the referee to step in. This time, she slaps him across the face! The ref reels back, but Santana then reaches up, grabs Dennis by the seat of her pants, and rolls her up. The ref quickly makes the count and Santana Garrett has beaten Laura Dennis! Dennis sits on the mat in disbelief, as Santana gets her hand raised. Enraged, Dennis buries her knee into Santana’s back, then spins her around and hits a facebuster! The referee gets involved and tries to restrain Dennis, who kicks him in the groin! Dennis drops to her knees, grabs her own hair and lets out a bloodcurdling scream, before a sick smile crosses her lips. She rolls out of the ring and struts up the ramp, looking quite pleased with herself.
Backstage, EC3, Dixie Carter and Rockstar Spud are with Melissa Santos. Santos asks about EC3’s win over AJ Styles at Turning Point and what’s next. EC3 makes sure to give credit where it’s due to Styles, who gave him a great fight, saying he’s one of the best to ever do it for a reason. But he won and now, he’s moving on up the ranks. He says that his next target is Eli Drake and the X Division Championship. When Dixie questions why he doesn’t just go for the World Title, EC3 says he has a point to prove, first. After he proves it, Aries is next. After all, when plans A and B fail, there’s always Option C…
In tag team action, it’s one of Impact’s longest running tag teams, The Motor City Machine Guns, taking on the newest team on the block, Dustin Rhodes and Hangman Adam Page, The Natural Nightmares. Before the match gets underway, Matt Striker announces on commentary that, per Billy Corgan, Laura Dennis has been suspended, without pay, for one week due to her actions during the previous match. Page and Sabin start off the match. Some good back and forth, before their respective partners tag in. Dustin Rhodes is the clear odd man out in this match, as he shows no inclination to engage in the flashier highflying style of MCMG or his own partner. Dustin slows the match down with a rear chinlock on Shelley, before working over him with grounded elbows. When Page tag’s in, the pace picks up slightly, with more impactful offense, but still focused on keeping Shelley isolated. Eventually, a miscue by Page allows Shelley to tag Sabin back in. Sabin unloads on both opponent, before putting Page away with the Cradleshock in surprisingly handy fashion. After the match, Rhodes can be seen appearing to scold Page for losing the match…
The crowd pops huge when Tony Schiavone introduces Kurt Angle. Angle has only appeared occasionally in the last year or so, since losing the NWA World Championship to Cody at Bound For Glory in 2018. Tony asks Kurt about his future in “our great sport”. Kurt explains that while in his mind, he’s still got it, his body has been telling him otherwise. After the loss to Cody, he had to rein it in a bit, for his own physical well-being. And while he feels great, he knows his time in the ring is nearing it’s end. The crowd boos this, but Angle says he has every intention of making one final run, but this run is going to be special. This is the “Kurt Angle Does Whatever He Goshdarn Wants” run! And for starters, he wants one more chance to be Impact World Champion. Just one, he says. If he can’t get the job done, then so be it. But he challenges Austin Aries to a World Championship match at No Surrender. Aries comes out, laughing at the idea of Angle, a fifty year old man, challenging him, a man ten years younger, to a match that will main event Impact’s final PPV of the year. Aries says Kurt just doesn’t have it anymore and it will be his pleasure to help his brain get in sync with the rest of his body. Angle offers a handshake, Aries takes it, but Angle pulls him into an Angle Slam. “I’ll show you what that extra ten years of life experience can do, boy. See you on December 7th.”
We quickly go backstage, where Jeremy Borash is with Eli Drake. Drake says that EC3 proved himself deserving of another title shot, so at No Surrender, he will grant him an X Division Championship match, live on PPV!
As Rob Van Dam and Shawn Spears make their entrances, Josh Mathews talks up the history of Feast or Fired, as well as mentioning upcoming qualifiers (James Storm vs. Bobby Roode, Decay vs. SCU, and Orange Cassidy vs. Michael Bennett). The winner of this match will be the first official entrant of what Matt Striker says will be a total of nine. Spears and RVD go face to face, with Spears beginning the match with a slap. RVD takes exception and levels Spears with a crescent kick. Spears to the outside, but Van Dam comes over the top with a somersault dive! Van Dam rolls Spears back in the ring, but Spears rams his shoulder into Van Dam's ribs, giving himself time to set up a suplex into the ring. Cover, but only a two count. Spears works over RVD with headlocks, until Van Dam fights out of it. Offensive flurry by RVD, consisting of kicks, then a snap suplex. Spears down, Five Star Frog Splash by RVD seals the deal! Van Dam has qualified for Feast or Fired!
Tony Schiavone once again has the mic, as he welcomes, first, Impact Women’s Champion Tessa Blanchard, then her upcoming challenger, Rosemary, to the stage. Schiavone reminds both women of the no physicality agreement as he then informs the audience that these two women will meet for the Impact Women’s Championship on December 7th at No Surrender, Impact’s final PPV offering of the year. Rosemary says that she started 2019 as Women’s Champion and she intends to end the year as Champion. Tessa talks about 2019 being the year she earned the respect of the fans and her fellow wrestlers. At No Surrender, she will earn Rosemary’s respect when she beats her. Schiavone then announces that since the two women have a number of shared enemies, due to their success at those women’s expense, Maria Kanellis has instructed him to announce that next week, Tessa and Rosemary will team up to face Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Sienna. Champion and challenger shake hands, as Tony quickly talks them up before throwing to commercial.
We return with a vignette looking at “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry. Perry talks about his family history, as well as the sudden passing of his father, Luke Perry, earlier this year, and how he wants to make his dad proud by being a successful professional wrestler. The vignette is interrupted, however, as Maxwell Jacob Friedman makes his way to the ring with a mic. He says that he demanded a serious challenge for tonight, but the best Billy Corgan could find for him was Robert Anthony?? And while he’s stuck wrestling “scrubs” (“no offense”), Jack Perry gets a vignette where he talks about making his “dead daddy proud”? As the crowd boos, MJF talks about how he is a future mega-star and Billy Corgan should be doing more to make him feel like such. So sure, he’ll wrestle this guy and beat him, but he wants a “real challenge”.
Anthony attacks MJF as soon as the bell sounds, but it’s not long before Friedman turns the tide and has him tapping to the Salt of the Earth. MJF again grabs the mic. “So what was that? Two minutes?” The timekeeper whispers to Dave Penzer who relays the info to MJF. “Eighty-two seconds! That’s how long it took me to beat this shlub! Billy Corgan, find me a real challenge!” Jack Perry walks out, as producers Sonjay Dutt and Petey Williams, as well as some referees, run in front to keep things from getting physical. Perry simply grabs a mic from the announce table and tells MJF to be careful what he wishes for, then exits. MJF stands in the ring, a smirk on his face, as we go TO THE BACK…
Melissa Santos is with AJ Styles, who praises EC3’s performance at Turning Point and acknowledges that he fought hard to beat him. Before he can talk about the future, however, the camera cuts away as Jon Moxley and Brian Cage are engaged in a heated argument. As officials try to keep them separated, Cage calls Mox a choke-artist who’s only still undefeated by a technicality. “Get in the ring with me and it won’t be technical, I’ll kick your damn ass!” Mox tells Cage he’s on as we cut back to the arena.
Next week on NWA Impact Wrestling, Tessa Blanchard and Rosemary team up to face Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Sienna; former tag team partners and long-time rivals Bobby Roode and James Storm go one-on-one in a Feast or Fired Qualifying match; Rey Fenix faces Alex Shelley; “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry will be in action; we hear from “The American Nightmare” Cody; Impact World Champion Austin Aries has requested promo time; and this Tuesday on NWA Powerr, as we draw closer to Into The Fire, April Lee Mendez will be in action; CM Punk has something to say; Aaron Stevens and NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis face Trevor Murdoch and NWA National Heavyweight Champion James Storm; The Wolves take on War Kings; and Tim Storm takes on “Speedball” Mike Bailey!
It’s main event time, as Le Sex Gods defend the NWA World Tag Team Championship against LAX. Konnan is at ringside, barking instructions to his team as the match gets underway. The early part is pure dominance by the challengers, as Santana and Ortiz cut the ring in half working over Sammy Guevara. Some big double team moves leave the youngster in trouble, but he always manages to kick out just in time. Eventually, Jericho gets the hot tag and cleans house for a bit, before LAX take over for the latter portion of the contest. Reno S.C.U.M. are seen watching the match backstage, but it’s Samoa Joe and Low-Ki who make the biggest difference. The two walk down the aisle and stand about a foot from the ring, watching the match. After a bit, Konnan confronts the two and Ki slap’s him! Santana and Diamante get in Joe and Ki’s faces, but the distraction allows Jericho to hit the Judas Effect on Ortiz for the win! As Joe and Ki brawl with LAX, Le Sex Gods celebrate what can only be called a lucky break, as Reno S.C.U.M. are smiling and whispering as the show comes to a close.
Quick Results Santana Garrett def. Laura Dennis The Motor City Machine Guns def. The Natural Nightmares Rob Van Dam def. Shawn Spears to qualify for Feast or Fired Maxwell Jacob Friedman def. Robert Anthony NWA World Tag Team Champions Le Sex Gods def. LAX to retain

- November 23rd, 2019: On Tuesday’s episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling, The Horror defeated The DisHonored in a Steel Cage Warfare match, forcing The DisHonored to split up. Notably, Kevin Steen was not part of the match, it was explained on commentary that he wasn’t at the show. Reportedly, this was a kayfabe no-show and everything between Steen and ROH is great.
It’s unknown what the future holds for the respective members of The DisHonored. Obviously, Adam Cole is the ROH World Champion and will be defending the title at Final Battle, against the winner of next week’s match between RUSH and Dragon Lee. The Young Bucks will, of course, continue to be a tag team. The true question mark is with the current ROH Trios Tag Team Champions, PCO, TJP and Bandido. At the end of the match, Cole and The Bucks were clearly blaming PCO for the loss. It could be interesting to see if, going forward, the Trios Champions turn face.
Dark Order debuted three new members who wore green creeper masks, as opposed to usual purple. The green masks are meant to signify members undergoing the final initiation process to joining the group. While Josh Woods was teased to be joining the group, he was not one of the men seen last Tuesday.
Nyla Rose signed a contract with Ring of Honor back in August, but has not yet debuted. The reason for this is that currently, Ring of Honor Wrestling is only a one hour show. Tony Khan is determined the keep the show fresh weekly, while also continuing ongoing storylines. Khan has been negotiating for a second hour with AXS. The belief is that once they get a second hour, the format of ROH Wrestling will change to allow more talent to be on TV weekly. But Rose being held off of TV is because Khan wants to showcase her regularly and simply cannot do so under the current circumstances.
Many longtime TNA viewers probably weren’t sure whether to be excited or terrified when “Option C” was mentioned by EC3 on Impact this past week. Word is that Billy Corgan wants to honor Impact Wrestling’s past and their legacy, while using said history to advance current storylines. With so many big names at the top of the card, Corgan wants to clarify who the main event players are, with so-called “stunt booking” techniques like Option C and Feast or Fired expected to play a role in that.
Three matches were announced for No Surrender on December 7th, Austin Aries defending the Impact World Championship against Kurt Angle, Eli Drake defending the X Division Championship against EC3, and Tessa Blanchard defending the Impact Women’s Championship against Rosemary. The Lucha Bros vs. Motor City Machine Guns also seems to be planned for the card, though not yet confirmed. Other matches teased on Impact include Maxwell Jacob Friedman vs. “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry and Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage.
Expect a name change for Laura Dennis going forward. The angle on Impact this past week was the beginning of plans to repackage her. Billy Corgan sees her as a cornerstone of the women’s division, but also realizes that she’s been playing the same two characters for the last five years, that being the plucky underdog when she’s a face, or the self-absorbed ditz when she’s a heel. Her recent cocky attitude was part of the transition to what we saw on Impact, when she was wrestling in a crazed, bloodthirsty style. She is also expected to be paired up on screen with her husband, Pepper Parks and his new tag team partner, Andy Williams, as the team is set to be transitioning to Impact soon.
Kurt Angle’s return to TV ties into what we reported last week about him wanting to work a program with Ken Shamrock. Billy Corgan wants to build up that this is Kurt’s last big run before he transitions to a producer’s role, which he’s been doing for most of the year, anyway. Challenging for the Impact World Title, possibly working with Shamrock if a deal can be reached, and mentoring one of the younger talents on the roster are just some of the ideas that have been pitched for Kurt.
Many questioned the logic of cutting off AJ Styles’ promo during Impact, but apparently, this is part of a plan for Styles going forward. The belief is that, as a face, he’s really only good for putting people over these days, but as a heel, another main event run could be reached. Of course, Styles only turned face back on the TNT debut episode of Impact, so one has to wonder how a heel turn so soon will work out…

WWE – November 2019 The month of November means the push towards Survivor Series, which mean BRAND LOYALTY is the name of the game. In a new wrinkle added to the event for this year, NXT will be part of the one night battle for brand supremacy. Highlighting the show will, of course, be the Champion vs. Champion vs. Champion matches: Andrade “Cien” Almas (Raw – United States Champion) vs. Chad Gable (Smackdown – Intercontinental Champion) vs. Cesaro (NXT – North American Champion); Viking Raiders (Raw Tag Team Champions) vs. The Revival (Smackdown Tag Team Champions) vs. Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish (NXT Tag Team Champions); and Becky Lynch (Raw Women’s Champion) vs. Bayley (Smackdown Women’s Champion) vs. Shayna Baszler (NXT Women’s Champion). In addition, the three brand Championships will be on the line: The Fiend defends the WWE Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan; Kenny Omega defends the WWE Championship against Aleister Black; and Roderick Strong will defend the NXT Championship against the winner of a number one contenders match at NXT Takeover: Wargames, between Pete Dunne, Killian Dain and Damien Priest.
In addition, the brand warfare will feature a pair of five-on-five-on-five elimination matches: Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Randy Orton, Ricochet and Mustafa Ali (Raw) vs. Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Shinsuke Nakamura, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin (Smackdown) vs. a still-to-be-announced team from NXT; and Asuka, Kairi Sane, Charlotte, Sarah Logan and Natalya (Raw) vs. Sasha Banks, Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, Dana Brooke and Carmella (Smackdown) vs. a still-to-be-announced team from NXT.
Finally, a no-holds-barred grudge match between Rey Mysterio and Brock Lesnar will take place at the show.

WWE Survivor Series, November 24th, 2019 The show begins with the No-Holds-Barred Match between Rey Mysterio and Brock Lesnar. Rey comes to the ring with a lead pipe. Before the bell, he charges Brock, who catches the pipe, rips it out of his hands, and flings it out of the ring, nearly braining Paul Heyman. Brock beats Rey down for several minutes, before Dominick Mysterio runs out, carrying a towel. He begs Brock to stop beating up his dad, but Brock drags him into the ring, only for Rey, then Dominick, to low-blow him! Father and son double-team Brock with a lead pipe and chair, then hit a double-team 619! Rey hits a frog splash off of Dom’s shoulders for a nearfall, as Dom goes up top. He goes for a frog splash of his own, Brock catches him in a German suplex! However, as he gets Rey up for the F-5, Rey counters into a tornado DDT, then a frog splash using the chair as an assist, to get the win! Rey and Dom celebrate in the aisle as Heyman checks on a pissed off Lesnar in the ring.
Up next, it’s the women’s five-on-five-on-five Survivor Series Match. Despite suffering the apparent losses of Io Shirai and Candice LeRae early on due to a brawl, Team NXT enjoys an early display of dominance, as Bianca Belair eliminates Nikki Cross and Sarah Logan. Raw’s Charlotte goes on to eliminate Carmella, while Smackdown’s Sasha Banks eliminates Kairi Sane. Asuka then eliminates Dana Brooke, before Lacey Evans scores the surprise elimination of Charlotte, with an assist from Charlotte’s own teammate, Asuka, who then walks out of the match. By herself to represent Raw, Natalya manages to eliminate Lacey Evans, then submits Toni Storm with the help of Sasha Banks. Sasha then eliminates Belair, leaving it at Natalya vs. Banks vs. Ripley. Banks eliminates Natalya, but Shirai and LeRae return to the ring and help Rhea defeat Banks to win it for NXT.
The first Championship match is next, as Roderick Strong defends the NXT Championship against Pete Dunne. After a fair amount of back and forth to start, Dunne starts to settle into his usual strategy of joint manipulation. A Bitter End gets a nearfall for Dunne, but Strong rolls to the outside. Dunne goes after him and they fight at ringside, where Strong ram’s Dunne’s head into the ring post. Back in the ring, Strong locks in the Stronghold, but Dunne reaches the ropes. Strong breaks on four, then pulls Dunne up, only to get drawn into a jumping knee strike, then an arm-trap belly-to-belly bridging suplex for another nearfall. Dunne goes for the Bitter End once again, but Strong fights out of it and hits the Gibson Driver to win and retain.
Next up is the first of the Champion vs. Champion vs. Champion matches, this one pitting the brands’ respective Tag Team Champions against each other. The Revival and Fish and O’Reilly work together to take down The Viking Raiders, then go at it for a bit. The Revival score a nearfall on Fish after a Shatter Machine, but O’Reilly breaks it up. Chasing The Dragon on Dash Wilder earns a nearfall as well. The Viking Raiders return and clean house, before finishing off Fish with the Viking Experience for the win.
The battle of the United States, Intercontinental and North American Champions is next. Chad Gable and Cesaro engage in some mat wrestling, while Andrade “Cien” Almas showboats. After Gable hits a Neutralizer on Gable, Andrade tosses him out of the ring and goes for the cover, but Gable kicks out! Gable and Andrade go at it, before Cesaro barges back in and lays out Gable with an uppercut. Cesaro and Andrade fight, with Andrade surprising Cesaro with a belly-to-belly into the corner, then the running knees. A hammerlock DDT earns a nearfall. Gable back in and he gets the Ankle Lock on Andrade, only for Cesaro to blast him with another European Uppercut, then hit the Neutralizer on Andrade to pick up the win.
The WWE Universal Championship match between The Fiend and Daniel Bryan goes next. The story of the match is Bryan throwing everything he has at The Fiend, who simply absorbs the punishment. A Running Knee by Bryan earns a nearfall. Yes Kicks, then a missile dropkick knock The Fiend down, but he quickly kicks out of the subsequent pin attempt. Bryan goes back up top for another missile dropkick, but this time, The Fiend catches him in the Mandible Claw to get the win via technical knockout and retain.
Up next, it’s time for the men’s five-on-five-on-five Survivor Series Match. Team Smackdown draws first blood when McIntyre pins WALTER following a Claymore Kick just three minutes into the match. Shinsuke Nakamura is the second man eliminated, thanks to a Coup de Grace by Finn Balor. But Ciampa then catches Balor with the Fairytale Ending to eliminate him. Randy Orton catches Damien Priest with the RKO for the next elimination, but is then pinned by Matt Riddle following a Floating Bro, only for Riddle to then fall prey to the End of Days from Corbin. Braun Strowman goes on a tear outside the ring, storming through everyone from Raw and NXT, but is counted out while fighting with Ciampa. Corbin then eliminated Ricochet with an End of Days, while Rollins pinned McIntyre after a low-blow, followed by a Stomp. Reigns eliminates Ali with a Spear, but when Corbin gets in his face, Reigns Spear’s him, allowing Ciampa to score the pin. Keith Lee saves Ciampa from a Shield Powerbomb attempt by Reigns and Rollins, but Rollins manages to still eliminate Ciampa after a Stomp. Lee pins Rollins after a fireman’s carry jackhammer. Reigns and Lee go back and forth, with Reigns ultimately getting the win after a Spear, but fist-bump’s Lee in a show of respect after the match.
The penultimate match of the evening pits WWE Champion Kenny Omega against Aleister Black. Black comes into this one with a tag team win over Omega and Eric Young, with Ricochet as his tag team partner. Omega starts the match with a snap-dragon suplex, but Black quickly responds with a spinning heel kick to the jaw. Some back and forth punching by both men, then a surprise Black Mass for a two count. The two men trade moves for a bit, before Black goes for another Black Mass, but Kenny blocks it and hits another snap-dragon. V-Trigger, but Black gets his foot on the bottom rope. Black hits a sidekick, but when he tries for the Black Mass again, Kenny catches him and hits the One Winged Angel to pin and retain the gold.
Finally, it’s main event time as the Raw, Smackdown and NXT Women’s Champions meet. Bayley and Becky work over Shayna, before going at each other. Bayley’s malicious side comes out when she introduces a chair into the mix and uses it to try and take out Becky’s shoulder. Baszler gets back in the mix, dropping Bayley with a superkick, then brawling with Becky on the outside. Baszler throws Becky over the announce table, where she lands at the feet of Michael Cole and Nigel McGuinness. In the ring, Bayley hits the Bayley-to-Belly on Shayna, then goes for a diving elbow drop, only for Shayna to catch her in the Kirifuda Clutch. Bayley taps, giving Shayna and NXT the win! But after the match, Becky and Shayna brawl and Becky puts Baszler through the announce table and stands tall to end the night with a moral victory…

- November 25th, 2019: NXT took the ultimate victory at Survivor Series, winning three of the five head-to-head-to-head clashes with Raw and Smackdown. The reason for this dominance by the “developmental brand” was to get eyes on the Wednesday Night show, which is going head-to-head with Impact. Rhea Ripley and Keith Lee undoubtedly came out of the show looking the best of all the NXT workers. Ripley was the winner of her team’s Survivor Series match, while Lee had a star-making performance and was acknowledged afterwards by Roman Reigns. Ripley is set for a collision course with NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, with their match expected to headline the final live NXT of the year. As for Lee, many workers have expressed interest in working with him, including none-other than BROCK LESNAR. Triple H wishes to keep Lee in NXT for the time being, wanting to have a male star he can build around similar to Rhea in the women’s division. There’s even been talk of Lee winning the NXT Championship in the very near future…
Many were shocked that Rey Mysterio defeated Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. The reason for this was to give Rey momentum going into TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, where he’s scheduled to finally receive the WWE Championship match he earned back in September. The Champion, Kenny Omega, turned a lot of heads at the event when he and Aleister Black went out and wrestled New Japan “strong style” for twenty minutes on a WWE PPV. Omega’s influence continues to be felt in all aspects of the company, from getting Michael Nakazawa signed to NXT, to the creative focus being placed on the likes of Finn Balor, Aleister Black, Andrade “Cien” Almas and Ricochet, to the very un-WWE-like match. There are many who feel it’s only a matter of time before Vince McMahon gets bored with Kenny and stops affording him permission to do as he pleases, while others believe this could be the beginning of a widespread change in how WWE is presented moving forward.
The Fiend vs. Daniel Bryan match at Survivor Series was considered a disappointment by many, as The Fiend’s gimmick is very limiting in regards to the types of matches he’s able to have. Hell in a Cell and Survivor Series showcased those limitations and many wonder if The Fiend’s days on top of Smackdown are numbered…
Another title reign that seems to be on borrowed time is that of The Revival, the current Smackdown Tag Team Champions. We reported that after Crown Jewel, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder gave their notice that they will be leaving when their contracts are up. Vince McMahon is known for being very vindictive and it’s only a matter of time, it would appear, before The Revival suffer for their actions on TV.
The main event of Survivor Series saw Shayna Baszler win the night for NXT, but it was Raw’s Becky Lynch who stood tall when the show ended. Becky has been pushed as the top woman in the company since the end of 2018 and many are wondering who will finally end her title reign, and when. Notably, Bayley was the one who looked the worst after the show, having tapped out to Shayna and not being involved in the post-match confrontation, designed to set up a future match between Lynch and Baszler. The general feeling is that Bayley doesn’t have any interesting challengers set up on Smackdown, but Vince seems set on a slow-burn angle between Bayley and Sasha Banks.
WALTER’s quick elimination at Survivor Series was the end of Imperium’s run on the main NXT show for the time being. With WALTER the current NXT United Kingdom Champion, he’s expected to return to the UK to defend his title on their show for the foreseeable future. Down the road, if WALTER is to move to the US full-time, it’s believed that he would be heavily pushed on main NXT, however.
If you’re wondering what happened to Rusev, he’s once again been removed from TV due to creative differences. On the September 30th edition of Raw, he attacked The Miz on MizTV, which seemed to be the beginning of a new push. The following week, he defeated The Miz, then was officially drafted to Raw. He went on to make two appearances, setting up a program with Randy Orton, before the angle was suddenly dropped, with Orton reverting to his heel character. Apparently, Vince was trying to separate Rusev and Lana again, with Lana beginning a pairing with Cedric Alexander. When the real-life husband and wife complained, they were removed from all future scripts and sent home.

Ring of Honor Wrestling, November 26th, 2019 Ian Riccaboni and Taz welcome us to this week’s show as they talk over a recap of last week’s main event. The DisHonored are no more, says Ian, after they were defeated by The Horror in a Steel Cage Warfare match. After the match, Adam Cole and The Young Bucks argued with their partner, PCO, and Bandido and TJP. We then go to an interview Alex Marvez conducted with the ROH Trios Champions. TJP does the talking, saying that last week, PCO stepped up when Kevin Steen couldn’t even be bothered to show up for the most important match of their lives. And PCO put up the fight of his life and got pinned. No denying it. But there were four men on that team and three of them are trying to blame one man, who wasn’t even meant to be in the match. TJP says that with friends like them, he’s glad The DisHonored is finished. As for the three of them, they’ll continue to defend their titles against all comers, including at Final Battle. Back at ringside, Ian then announces that at Final Battle, PCO, Bandido and TJP will defend the ROH Trios Championship against Team Superbad, consisting of Kip Sabian, Jimmy Havoc and their new ally, Sonny Kiss.
Our opening match tonight pits brother against brother as Dragon Lee battles RUSH to become the number one contender for the ROH World Championship. RUSH displays signs of showboating throughout the match, failing to capitalize when he has his brother in a bad way, instead opting to pose for the crowd. Eventually, RUSH starts taking the match seriously, including catching Dragon Lee in a side headlock takedown. But Lee escapes via a headscissors, then hits the ropes for a springboard back elbow that sends his brother rolling to the outside. Lee dives through the ropes onto RUSH, then rolls him back in, springboard legdrop scores two only. RUSH fights back, big spear to Lee. But instead of covering, he again takes time to pose. He grabs Lee and shoots him into the corner, but when he goes for the Bull’s Horns, Lee moves! RUSH gets tangled in the corner, sliding dropkick to the head by Dragon Lee, then a Dragon Driver seals the deal! Dragon Lee is now the number one contender for the ROH World Championship!
We go to a vignette for The Dark Order, as Evil Uno is giving the new recruits a speech. He informs them that they passed their first test, but they’re not ready to be fully in Dark Order just yet. There are rules and regulations to follow, and consequences for failing to do so. We then see Stu Grayson beating down a would-be recruit who Uno says refused to shun his individualism. “First rule of Dark Order… we are one.”
Back in the ring, RUSH is kicking the ropes in frustration. Dragon Lee offers a handshake, but his brother refuses. As they argue, Adam Cole and The Young Bucks charge the ring and beat down Dragon Lee. RUSH watches, looking like he might help his brother, before rolling to the outside and walking to the back. Cole grabs the mic and says that the SuperKliq lives on at Final Battle, they will regain their spot at the top of ROH…
After the break, Darby Allin makes his way to the ring, where Silas Young is waiting. Young works Darby over for much of the early going, but Darby’s resiliency is what keeps him in the fight. A dive to the outside wows the crowd and the announcers, as Darby literally shotgun’s himself into Young! Back in the ring, Darby traps Young in the Last Supper to get the pin.
It’s main event time, as Sami Callihan and Madman Fulton of The Horror defend the ROH World Tag Team Championship against Best Friends. Ian and Taz quickly shill DARK this Friday, featuring The Allure in action, Brody King defending the ROH TV Championship against Tracey Williams, and Private Party taking on Jack Evans and Angelico. Fulton and Chuckie T start the match for their respective teams. The Horror use their size and brawling ability to control the early part of the match, but the Best Friends soon take over, with Trent leading the charge. A Strong Zero on Fulton nets them a nearfall, but the Champions still rally, with Callihan finishing off Chuckie T with the Cradle Killer to retain. But after the match, The Young Bucks attack The Horror from behind. Superkicks to both men, then Matt Jackson takes the mic and challenges The Horror to a Ladder War at Final Battle for the ROH World Tag Team Championship…

NWA Powerr, November 26th, 2019 – Quick Results Tim Storm def. “Speedball” Mike Bailey April Lee Mendez def. Marti Belle The Wolves def. War Kings CM Punk made a challenge to Impact’s Rob Van Dam for a match at Into The Fire Trevor Murdoch and James Storm def. Nick Aldis and Aaron Stevens
NWA Impact Wrestling, November 27th, 2019 Impact World Champion Austin Aries kicks off Impact as he enters, clad in a suit, with the Championship draped over his shoulder. Aries talks about Kurt Angle challenging him last week for No Surrender. He says that Angle may have got the jump on him last week, but on December 7th, he will be ready for the Olympic gold medalist. But as Aries goes to leave, the music of James Storm hits. Storm warns Aries that he’s going to defeat Bobby Roode tonight, then go on to win a Feast or Fired Briefcase. And when he does, Aries better watch his back. Aries smirks, as Bobby Roode ambushes Storm from behind. The former Tag Team Championship partners Roode and Aries put the boots to Storm, until Angle runs out to chase them off. But Storm looks worse for wear, putting his match with Roode later tonight in serious jeopardy.
Rey Fenix and Alex Shelley take to the ring for Impact’s opening contest. Commentary confirms that at No Surrender, The Lucha Brothers will defend the Impact World Tag Team Championship against the Motor City Machine Guns. Fenix keeps Shelley on his toes for the early part of the match, using high-flying offense. Shelley fights back, using his skill to ground Fenix. A headlock by Shelley forces Fenix to expend energy to get to the ropes, but he succeeds in breaking the hold. Fenix starts to build momentum, even knocking Shelley to the outside. But when he goes for a dive, Chris Sabin pushes his partner out of the way, causing Fenix to crash into Sabin instead. Shelley rolls Fenix back in the ring and hits the Shellshock to get the win. After the match, Penta El Zero Miedo confronts Sabin and Shelley, but Fenix talks his brother down.
Melissa Santos is backstage with Brian Cage. She asks him about picking a fight with Jon Moxley last week, but Cage tells her not to worry about it. He says that Moxley acts tough, but he hasn’t had to face anyone like him yet. But that’s going to change, because Cage had a meeting with Billy Corgan earlier today and at No Surrender, Cage and Moxley will go one-on-one.
It’s time for women’s tag team competition, as Impact Women’s Champion Tessa Blanchard and her challenger at No Surrender, Rosemary, take on Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Sienna. Champion and challenger attempt to get on the same page, but quickly devolve into trying to show each other up. Meanwhile, Baker and Sienna demonstrate exemplary teamwork, cutting off Tessa from her corner. Sienna overpowers Tessa for a bit, then tags in Baker, who puts the boots to the Impact Women’s Champion. Baker starts softening up Blanchard for the Lockjaw, but the Champion fights back, nailing the dentist with a right hand, then one for Sienna, before diving into her corner and the waiting hand of Rosemary, who tags in. Rosemary is a house of fire, running down Baker and Sienna with clotheslines and shoulderblocks. However, the tide shifts after a miscommunication by Champion and challenger. Rosemary holds Baker for a clothesline by Blanchard, but the Baker moves and the Champion accidentally takes out her partner. Sienna delivers a big boot to Blanchard, as Baker rolls up Rosemary for the win. Baker and Sienna celebrate in the aisle, while Blanchard and Rosemary exchange words in the ring.
Jeremy Borash is in the back with Samoa Joe and Low Ki, who last week cost Santana and Ortiz their NWA World Tag Team Championship match. Borash asks Joe and Ki why they decided to pick a fight with LAX. Joe says that there is no team in Impact badder than him and Low Ki. They issue a challenge to LAX to face them at No Surrender on December 7th.
Earlier today, Impact X Division Champion Eli Drake had a confrontation with Michael Bennett and Maria Kanellis, leading to a match for the X Division Championship tonight. Drake and Bennett start the match with a tie-up, as Team Dixie make their way to ringside for a closer look. Drake knocks Bennett to the mat with a shoulder block, then press slam’s him over the top rope to the floor. Maria checks on her husband, then climbs up on the apron to argue with the referee. While she does, EC3 and Rockstar Spud slide into the ring and beat down Drake. EC3 hits the One Percenter, then the two bail out as Bennett rolls back in and makes the cover. One, two, but Drake gets his shoulder up! Drake rallies back, then finishes off Bennett with a running kneelift, followed by Blunt Force Trauma to retain. After the match, Drake and EC3 have a staredown, as Drake holds up the X Division belt and promises to defeat EC3 at No Surrender.
“The American Nightmare” Cody and Brandi Rhodes make their way to the ring for an interview with Tony Schiavone. Tony asks Cody about his inability to regain the NWA Worlds Championship at Turning Point. Cody admits that Nick Aldis provided a more formidable challenge than he anticipated. But he says that he and Brandi always have a contingency plan. Which is why next week, Cody will be taking on Tim Storm in a Feast or Fired qualifying match. Schiavone points out that the cases are only good for Impact Championships, but Cody just smirks, saying it’s typical for someone like Schiavone to miss the bigger picture. Cody and Brandi exit, leaving Josh Mathews and Matt Striker to ponder just what Cody’s master plan is?
Chris Bey waits in the ring as “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry makes his entrance. Perry makes quick work of Bey, finishing him off with with the Snare Trap for the submission win. After the match, Maxwell Jacob Friedman makes his way to the ring. He grabs the mic and mockingly congratulates Perry on his win. He says that Perry is beneath him as a talent and he doesn’t understand why Billy Corgan is wasting TV time on him. Perry challenges Friedman to a match at No Surrender, daring him to put his money where his mouth is for once. When Max hems and haws, Jungle Boy fakes a punch in his direction, sending MJF scurrying. On commentary, Matt Striker informs the viewers that Billy Corgan has immediately confirmed the match for No Surrender on December 7th.
Last week on Impact, we saw Laura Dennis snap, attacking Santana Garrett after their match, then attacking a referee. As a result, she was suspended for one week. However, she will return to Impact next week and has requested microphone time.
Backstage, Melissa Santos is with AJ Styles. Like last week, she tries to ask him about his future, but Styles is again cut off, this time by James Storm, who is making his way down the hall, limping. Santos asks him if he’s really going through with the match and he asks her if she seriously thought he wouldn’t. He is going to kick Bobby Roode’s ass and add his name to the field for Feast or Fired.
Next week on NWA Impact Wrestling, “The American Nightmare” Cody takes on Tim Storm in a Feast or Fired Qualifying Match; EC3 and Rockstar Spud will be in action; Awesome Kong takes on Chelsea Green; we will hear from Jon Moxley; The Natural Nightmares will take on The Motor City Machine Guns; and Tuesday on NWA Powerr, Rob Van Dam will be in action; Trevor Murdoch has one final warm-up before his NWA Worlds Title match; Aaron Stevens teams with Mr. Anderson to face Willie Mack and Ricky Starks; and we will hear from CM Punk and April Lee Mendez.
It’s main event time, as former tag team partners and long-time rivals Bobby Roode and James Storm go one-on-one in a Feast or Fired Qualifying match. Storm is coming into this one worse for wear after the attack by Austin Aries and Bobby Roode at the start of the show. Roode targets Storm’s leg, which was injured in the beating. Storm does manage a rally late in the match and hit’s the Last Call on Roode, only for him to get his foot on the bottom rope. Aries comes to ringside to watch the match, which draws out Kurt Angle to keep an eye on the Impact World Champion. Storm and Roode end up having a punch-off in the middle of the ring, as thr crowd cheers on Storm and boos Roode. Storm gets the better of the exchange, but as he goes to run the ropes, Aries trips him up. Angle goes after Aries, as Roode hits the Roode Bomb in the ring to get the win. After the match, Aries and Roode attempt to beat down Kurt Angle, but Storm helps fight them off, then they challenge Aries and Roode to a match next week on Impact! The heels accept, and we have our main event for next week set!

Ring of Honor Wrestling, December 3rd, 2019 Ian Riccaboni and Taz open this week’s broadcast by shilling the main event of RUSH and Dragon Lee taking on The Young Bucks. Also tonight, Jeff Cobb will be in action and Brandi Lauren of The Allure will go one-on-one with Leva Bates. But the night kicks off with Team SuperBad making their way to the ring for trios action, taking on QT Marshall, Danhausen and Cheeseburger. Sonny Kiss gets to showcase her unique style in this match, and she get the pin on Cheeseburger, as Team SuperBad are gunning for the Trios Championship at Final Battle on December 14th.
“Who are you?!” “WE ARE ONE!” “Who are you?!” “WE ARE ONE!” We’re back at the Dark Order meeting, as Evil Uno leads the members in their mantra. One of the masked recruits is chatting with a good-looking young woman, asking her about her background. As she reveals that she’s a police officer. The recruit is worried, but Evil Uno then imparts the second rule of Dark Order: “We are everywhere.”
Back in the ring, Captain Shawn Dean awaits the arrival of his opponent, Jeff Cobb. At Final Battle, Cobb will challenge Brody King for the ROH World Television Championship. Here, we see Cobb make quick work of The Captain, winning with the Tour of the Islands.
Backstage, Alex Marvez catches up with AR Fox and Rich Swann. He questions why they attacked Private Party last Friday on DARK. Swann explains that he and Fox recently had a confrontation with Marq Quen and Isaiah Kassidy at a club, where Private Party “embarrassed them in front of some fly honeys”. Fox says their attack was a receipt. Marvez informs Fox and Swann that Private Party have demanded a match which them at Final Battle and Tony Khan has signed off on the match. Fox and Swann are nonplussed by the announcement and promise a victory on December 14th.
The Allure make their way to the ring for Brandi Lauren’s match with Leva Bates. At Final Battle, Lauren will challenge Mercedes Martinez for the Women of Honor Championship. Bates takes the fight to Lauren early on, but Brandi fights back, thanks to an assist from Mandy Leon, who trips up Bates. Lauren gets the win with a fisherman’s neckbreaker, then she and Leon stomp Leva before tossing her out of the ring and exchanging cheek kisses to the boos of the crowd.
Backstage, Alisha Edwards catches up with The Best Friends. Last week, they came very close to capturing the ROH World Tag Team Championship from The Horror. Chuckie T says they’re not giving up on winning the belts. Trent says they have a contract for an open challenge at Final Battle and will take on any team that wants to step up.
On DARK this Friday, Darby Allin takes on Vinnie Marseglia; Kris Statlander w/ Priscilla Kelly takes on Bea Priestley; and The Foundation will battle Jack Evans and Angelico. And on ROH Wrestling next week, PAC takes on Kenny King and ROH Women of Honor Champion Mercedes Martinez will be in action! It’s now main event time, as RUSH and Dragon Lee take on The Young Bucks. Lee and RUSH struggle to get on the same page, while The Bucks take advantage and isolate Lee in their corner. Lee gets worked over for a bit, including a double superkick from the Bucks. But he manages to keep kicking out. RUSH watches from the apron, looking unimpressed with his brother’s performance. Lee eventually manages to fight back against the Bucks and makes a tag. RUSH comes in and runs through Nick and Matt, but then tags Lee back in. As RUSH walks away, Lee tries to put up a fight, but soon falls to the Meltzer Driver, giving The Bucks the win. Ian and Taz sign off, talking about how The Young Bucks could regain the ROH World Tag Team Championship at Final Battle…

NWA Powerr December 3rd, 2019 – Quick Results Rob Van Dam def. Marshe Rockett Trevor Murdoch def. Preston Vance Aaron Stevens and Mr. Anderson def. Willie Mack and Ricky Starks CM Punk and April Lee Mendez came out to talk about Punk’s match with Rob Van Dam at Into The Fire, but Dr. Britt Baker DMD confronts the couple. After some back and forth, Mendez and Baker set up a match for Into The Fire
NWA Impact Wrestling, December 4th, 2019 Impact kicks off with “The American Nightmare” Cody and Brandi Rhodes making their way to the ring. This is a Feast or Fired Qualifying Match, as former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tim Storm makes his way to the ring to battle Cody. Cody and Storm lock up at the bell and jockey for position. Cody is able to take Storm down to the mat and gets him in a headlock. Much of the match is spent working on the mat, as the two trade holds, in a match very reminiscent of the NWA’s glory days in the 60’s and 70’s. Soon, however, Cody begins to take the fight to Storm and the two are trading punches in the center of the ring. Cody goes for the Disaster Kick, but Storm ducks and catches Cody in an O’Connor roll. Cody kicks out, however, then grabs Storm and hits CrossRhodes to get the win and qualify for Feast or Fired.
Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with AJ Styles. He apologizes for AJ being interrupted the last couple of weeks, but before he can ask a question, we cut to Tessa Blanchard and Rosemary, who are arguing nearby. Tessa blames Rosemary for getting pinned last week, while Rosemary blames Tessa for screwing up and hitting her. Things start to get heated, as officials run over to separate the two, as Styles looks on, frustrated at once again not getting to speak…
Awesome Kong takes on Chelsea Green in women’s division action. Kong uses her size to overpower Green early on and wears her down with a bearhug. But when Kong goes for a splash in the corner, Green moves. Kong hits the turnbuckle and Green dives on her with a flurry of punches and kicks, but is thrown back. Green right back and she starts rocking Kong with running clotheslines and dropkicks, then a top rope crossbody which takes her down! Green hooks the leg, but only gets a two count. Green with an elbow drop to Kong, but another kickout. Green goes up top for a splash, but Kong sits up and catches her! She stands and runs Green into the turnbuckle, then hits the Awesome Bomb to get the win.
Backstage, Melissa Santos catches up with Orange Cassidy. She asks him about his upcoming Feast or Fired Qualifier against Michael Bennett. Cassidy says “I’ll beat him. I guess” which brings in Bennett and his wife, Maria Kanellis. Bennett tries to get under Cassidy’s skin, but Cassidy just “whatever’s” him, then walks off, leaving the Bennetts fuming.
Tony Schiavone is in the ring and he introduces Jon Moxley. Moxley is asked about his match with Brian Cage at No Surrender this Saturday night. Mox says that Cage has a clear chip on his shoulder, since he’s failed to win every title he’s challenged for in the last six months. Meanwhile, Moxley’s undefeated, because he wasn’t the guy pinned at Turning Point, but Cage feels like he has to tear him down to build himself up. At No Surrender, Moxley vows to put Cage down and then, he wants to talk to Billy Corgan about that Feast or Fired match. “Sounds interesting.”
Up next, it’s tag team action pitting The Motor City Machine Guns against The Natural Nightmares. Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo come out to watch the match from the stage. Dustin Rhodes and Hangman Adam Page take the fight to Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, isolating Sabin in their corner for a good portion of the match. Eventually, Shelley gets the hot tag and the Machine Guns use their experience as a tag team to put Hangman down for the three count. From the stage, the Champions engage in a staredown with their challengers for this coming Saturday…
Melissa Santos is backstage with Konnan and LAX, who will be taking on Samoa Joe and Low-Ki this Saturday at No Surrender. Konnan talks for his team, calling Joe and Ki a couple of disrespectful punks. LAX are three time Tag Team Champions, something those two haven’t been able to do. And at No Surrender, that’s exactly what LAX will show Joe and Ki when they meet.
EC3 and Rockstar Spud are accompanied by Dixie Carter as they make their way to the ring to take on Chris Peaks and Louis Valle. Impact X Division Champion Eli Drake is on commentary for the match. EC3 dominates his opponents, but when Spud gets in, Peaks and Valle are able to showcase their abilities against the diminutive Brit. EC3 tag’s himself back in and makes quick work of their opponents, finishing off Valle with the One Percenter. Afterwards, Drake stands up at the announce table and holds up the title, as Matt Striker and Josh Mathews sell the encounter set to take place on PPV as the latest chapter in one of Impact’s most renowned rivalries…
We go to Laura Dennis backstage. She says that the last couple of months, she thought she was losing her mind. She’d lost track of her career and her goals. She almost forgot who she even was. But after losing to Santana Garrett, something inside her just… clicked. She knows exactly who she is. She’s not Laura Dennis, “the adorable underdog”. She is dangerous. She is wicked. She is… The Bunny. And she’s not alone. Pepper Parks and Andy Williams step out of the shadows. She introduces Williams as The Butcher and Parks as The Blade. And they are going to take over NWA Impact Wrestling…
We get a video highlighting the rivalry between Maxwell Jacob Friedman and “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry, along with comments from both men, ahead of their match this Saturday night. Perry promises to make MJF regret speaking ill of his dad, while MJF doubles down on his comments about Perry not deserving the attention Billy Corgan’s been paying him. At No Surrender, this one could get personal.
Next week on NWA Impact Wrestling, two Feast or Fired qualifiers take place, as SCU take on The Decay, and Orange Cassidy battles Michael Bennett; plus, The Butcher and The Blade with The Bunny will be in action; while on NWA Powerr next Tuesday, it’s the final push towards Into The Fire, featuring Aaron Stevens, Trevor Murdoch, NWA World Champion Nick Aldis, NWA World Tag Team Champions Le Sex Gods, Reno S.C.U.M., Willie Mack, Mr. Anderson, CM Punk, Rob Van Dam, April Lee Mendez, Dr. Britt Baker DMD, and more!
In our main event, Impact World Champion Austin Aries teams with Bobby Roode to take on James Storm and Kurt Angle. Storm does most of the heavy lifting for his team, allowing Angle to come in for brief spurts of offense and to pop the crowd. Eventually, Angle and Aries fight up the aisle and to the back, leaving Roode and Storm to fight it out in the ring. Roode goes for the Roode Bomb, but Storm fights his way out of it and connects with the Last Call to pin his former tag team partner and get his hand raised in the main event of Impact!

- December 6th, 2019: Tomorrow night is Impact’s No Surrender PPV. The final card is as follows:
IMPACT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH – Austin Aries (c) vs. Kurt Angle
IMPACT X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH – Eli Drake (c) vs. EC3
IMPACT WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH – The Lucha Bros (c) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns
IMPACT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH – Tessa Blanchard (c) vs. Rosemary
Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage
“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry vs. Maxwell Jacob Friedman
Samoa Joe and Low Ki vs. LAX
Laura Dennis officially changed her ringname to “The Bunny” on this past week’s Impact. This change has been a long time coming, as her underdog, ditz and diva gimmicks have all been played out. She had pitched an unhinged character for some time, but there were many who felt she wasn’t cut out to play the character. After her promo on Impact, those naysayers have changed their tune. In addition, Andy Williams and Pepper Parks were officially called up to Impact as “The Butcher and The Blade”. Impact’s tag team division has been growing rapidly, between established teams such as LAX, The Lucha Bros, The Decay and The Motor City Machine Guns, newer teams like The Natural Nightmares, and part-time pairings like Samoa Joe and Low-Ki. The Butcher and The Blade will have a lot of work to do to avoid being lost in the shuffle.
The match between Eli Drake and EC3 for the X Division Championship is being heavily pushed as the semi-main event of No Surrender. Some feel it should go on last, but the belief is that the Impact World Championship needs to be reestablished as the top belt before the merger with the NWA. Drake and EC3 are expected to be a big part of the unified NWA’s main event picture, along with Nick Aldis, Cody and AJ Styles, among others.
The reason Kevin Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux have disappeared from the NWA is because they’ve signed with WWE. They are expected to debut in NXT sometime in early 2020. Billy Corgan didn’t fight very hard to keep the couple, feeling that there’s not much the two can do in Impact or the NWA, and he’s looking to cut some of the fat off the roster ahead of the merger next year.
Two Feast or Fired Qualifying Matches were announced for next week’s Impact. The reason is that there won’t be an episode on Christmas night, due to TNT broadcasting the 24-hour Christmas Story marathon. In addition, the final qualifier is expected to be a “last-chance” battle royal between people who failed to qualify previously, so Scott D’Amore and Billy Corgan wanted to push one match forward to make time. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}PPV might not be up until next week. I'm still working out what I want to do with one of the matches and going ahead towards the NWA/Impact merger.

- December 7th, 2019: We've been hearing rumblings that USA is not happy with the ratings NXT has been doing, especially compared to those of Impact. Roderick Strong is seen as the weakest Champion the company could present, especially compared to the likes of Austin Aries, Cody and Nick Aldis over on TNT. USA is said to be reassessing their deal to broadcast NXT heading into 2020. But if the show were to be cancelled, it would be viewed as Triple H failing, at least in the eyes of Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn. It is worth noting that the December 18th edition is the final live broadcast of the year and is expected to feature two huge title matches, those being Shayna Baszler defending the NXT Women's Championship against Rhea Ripley, and Roderick Strong defending the NXT Championship against Michael Nakazawa. The show will go head-to-head with the final Impact of 2019 and could indeed be a pivotal night for the "Wednesday Night Wars". {Spoiler}DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN...

Well, took me longer than I'd planned but I've finally finished reading the thread (up to this point at least) and I have to say that whilst it's a lot to process in one reading it's been enjoyable reading and it's obvious that you've worked hard on it. Looking forward to seeing more

Looking forward to seeing more I know, there was a lot to go through before getting into the actual meat of the booking. It took me a good month to write the five years of news beats, because of all the research involved with just the three main companies, plus New Japan. There's a reason I ended up not using MLW, because it was already taking me so long as it was, then to add a fifth company I'm not even remotely familiar with. But I've definitely enjoyed building this little universe. And I have some big plans for WWE now, so it's only going to get (hopefully!) better.

NWA Impact presents No Surrender – December 7th, 2019 Josh Mathews, Matt Striker and Tony Schiavone are on the call tonight for the final Impact PPV of 2019. Our opening contest sees The Lucha Bros defend the Impact World Tag Team Championship against the Motor City Machine Guns. We get a lot of back and forth between the four men in the match’s opening moments, as each team looks to establish dominance. The Lucha Bros settle into control in the early going, with Penta El Zero M looking to wear down Chris Sabin. When Rey Fenix tags in, he ups the ante with a fast-paced offensive blitz that Sabin is unable to mount an answer to. Eventually, Shelley gets the tag and soon, Fenix is the one being worked over in The Guns’ corner. After several double-team moves, The Guns seem to have the match in hand. Penta keeps making the save, but every time he does, the referee turns his back on the action, allowing The Guns more opportunities to work over Fenix. Eventually, Fenix does make the tag to Penta, who unleashes on both Guns. Some nearfalls between both teams, but eventually, The Lucha Bros emerge victorious with LB Driver to retain. Afterwards, The Lucha Bros offer handshakes, but The Guns blow them off, as the crowd boos the poor sportsmanship by Sabin and Shelley. Nonetheless, the Champs celebrate their win as the challengers trudge to the back.
We go backstage to Jeremy Borash, who is with Impact Women’s Champion Tessa Blanchard. Tessa is asked about her title defense against Rosemary tonight. She manages to get out a few comments about respect and being a fighting Champion, before Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett enter the picture. Maria gets a couple of digs in on Tessa, before informing her that if she manages to defeat Rosemary tonight and retain the Impact Women’s Championship, she will be defending it on Impact against a woman that Maria believes has earned a title shot, Dr. Britt Baker DMD. Tessa smirks, asking “is that all, BOSS?” Maria sneers and stomps off, her doting husband scurrying after her. Borash asks Tessa about this last-minute twist. Tessa says she doesn’t care who she faces. Bring it on.
Up next, it’s a grudge match of sorts, as “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry battles Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Both men only just recently debuted in Impact, but have quickly found themselves in each other’s crosshairs. Friedman believes that Perry is favored by Billy Corgan and is resentful of Perry getting more attention paid to him. He made comments about Perry’s father, the late Luke Perry, which Jack took exception to, leading to this match tonight. Jungle Boy starts off hot, rocking MJF with punches and sending him running to the outside. Perry goes to dive onto Max, but MJF grabs the referee, forcing Jack to stop short. MJF then delivers a cheapshot through the ropes to Perry, turning the tide of the match. MJF works over Jack for much of the next few minutes, focusing on the arm, in particular, in hopes of setting up the Salt of the Earth. Jungle Boy starts to mount a comeback, firing off more punches and forcing MJF to once again retreat into the ropes. As a frustrated Jungle Boy backs up, MJF delivers a kick to the groin, in full view of the referee, who calls for the bell. But MJF doesn’t care, as he stomps away at Jungle Boy, then delivers the Heat Seeker. MJF stands over Perry and cockily raises his arms, clearly considering this a win…
Melissa Santos catches up with Impact World Champion Austin Aries backstage. Aries says he’s heard everyone’s doubts of whether or not he can defeat Kurt Angle tonight. He calls Kurt one of the true absolute legends in this business, but every legend comes to an end eventually. Tonight, he will end Kurt Angle’s legend and continue to reign supreme as the Impact World Champion into the new year.
Up next, Tessa Blanchard defends the Impact Women’s Championship against Rosemary. On commentary, Josh Mathews and Matt Striker are already looking ahead to Wednesday night, as Dr. Britt Baker DMD will challenge the winner. Britt is even sitting in the front row, watching the match. Tessa and Rosemary trade shots in the center of the ring, before settling into a very snug wrestling match. Rosemary tries to wear down Tessa with a headlock on the mat, but Tessa manages to get her foot on the bottom rope, forcing Rosemary to break the hold. Rosemary works over Blanchard’s neck and upper back, delivering a big suplex to the Champion, but she can’t put her away. The match spills outside the ring, where Blanchard manages to get the upper hand, after throwing Rosemary into the crowd barricade, where she collapses right in front of Baker. Baker takes exception and heckles the woman who beat her to earn this match, until Tessa gets in her face. The two women trade barbs, as the referee gets between them to prevent any physicality. Rosemary delivers a double sledge to Tessa, then rolls her back in the ring. She looks to finish her off, but Tessa blocks a neckbreaker, then lifts Rosemary up and ricochet’s her off the top rope, into a slingshot suplex to retain! Britt Baker looks on from the front row as Tessa and her father celebrate.
Team Dixie is backstage, as EC3 prepares for his match against Eli Drake for the Impact X Division Championship. Rockstar Spud is trying to get EC3 hyped for the match, while Dixie Carter is already planning the victory celebration. EC3 tells “Aunt D” and Spud to back off and give him space. He then directly addresses Drake, putting him over as a worthy rival, one he’s had countless battles with. One thing EC3’s had trouble doing is beating Drake in Championship matches. But he needs the X Division Championship, as it’s the first step to reclaiming his place at the top of Impact Wrestling. But when all is said and done, and he’s the Impact World Champion again, he’ll be more than happy to offer Drake the first title shot.
Samoa Joe and Low-Ki make their way to the ring to battle LAX in the next match. It doesn’t take long for this one to break down, as Joe and Low-Ki attack Santana and Ortiz in the aisle. The two teams fight around ringside, the bell not ringing yet, as it’s just a wild brawl. Low-Ki and Ortiz fight into the crowd, while Joe and Santana fight to the back. The referee calls for backup in an attempt to gain control, but the match is quickly called off. The fight continues, however, as Joe and Santana fight in the backstage area, while Low-Ki and Ortiz brawl into the concession area. Security eventually intervenes, separating the teams, as the crowd urges them to “LET THEM FIGHT!”
Eli Drake is with Melissa Santos ahead of his X Division Title defense. He says that EC3 is a worthy opponent, but he made a big mistake when he and Spud attacked him a few weeks ago on Impact. “I said a big mistake, DUMMY! YEAH!” He promises to make EC3 regret his actions when he beats him once again to retain the X Division Championship.
Up next, Brian Cage makes his way to the ring, while Jon Moxley enters through the crowd for their match. Mox takes the fight to Cage in the early going, rocking him with punches and then clotheslining him over the top rope to the outside. Mox goes after Cage and they brawl at ringside, where Cage gains the advantage by throwing Moxley face first into the ringpost. Cage rolls the bloodied Moxley back into the ring, but can only get a two count. Cage batters Moxley for a bit, but misses an avalanche splash in the corner, allowing Mox to hit the King Kong lariat. Before Cage can recover, Moxley hit’s the Paradigm Shift and cover’s to get the victory.
Backstage, we see Kurt Angle warming up for his Impact World Championship match. Josh Mathews and Matt Striker go over Angle’s past accomplishments as they build up tonight’s match as Angle’s final chance to become World Champion…
It’s time now for the Impact X Division Championship match, as Eli Drake defends against EC3. Dixie Carter and Rockstar Spud come to ringside with EC3, but he tells them to leave as the match gets underway. Back and forth action between the two in the early going, as they are very familiar with one another after nearly five years of feuding off-and-on. EC3 uses his size advantage to eventually gain control of the match and proceeds to hit power move after power move on the Champion, only for Drake to keep fighting back. Drake rallies and hits the running kneelift on EC3, but the challenger was ready and avoided the Blunt Force Trauma! EC3 with a punch to the midsection, then he hoists up Drake and props him up on the top turnbuckle. EC3 climbs up and superplex’s Drake to the mat, but only gets a 2-count. The two continue to trade the advantage, until EC3 gets Drake set up for the One Percenter. Drake fights out of it, however, then hits the running kneelift, then the Blunt Force Trauma to get the win and retain the title! After the match, EC3 grabs the belt and it looks like he’s going to hit Drake with it, but instead he hands it to him and shakes his hand! EC3 exits the ring, leaving Drake to celebrate with the fans.
Backstage, Jeremy Borash tries to grab a word with AJ Styles, but is interrupted as LAX and Samoa Joe and Low-Ki have begun brawling again! Officials try to separate the teams to no avail as we go back to ringside.
This Wednesday on NWA Impact Wrestling, Orange Cassidy will take on Michael Bennett, and SCU face The Decay, in a pair of Feast or Fired Qualifying matches. In addition, we will see the Impact debut of The Butcher and The Blade, and Tessa Blanchard will defend the Impact Women’s Championship against Dr. Britt Baker DMD.
Finally, it’s time for the main event, as Austin Aries defends the Impact World Championship against Kurt Angle. At the bell, Angle puts on a clinic, out-finessing Aries at every turn and forcing the Champion to bail to the outside. Aries paces at ringside, frustrated by the challenger’s early onslaught. Rolling back into the ring, Aries gets taken down immediately by Angle. Angle works the leg, but Aries manages to escape under the ropes. As the referee forces Angle back, Aries rolls out again, but this time he grabs the title and starts to walk out! Angle forces his way past the referee and chases Aries up the aisle, spinning him around and decking him! Angle drags Aries back to the ring and throws him back in, but as he follows suit, Aries cuts him off with a series of stomps to the head and neck. Aries takes control of the match, working Angle with a rear chinlock. As the match wears on, Aries’ cockiness starts to return, the longer he has Angle on the ropes. That cockiness is almost Aries’ undoing, however, as Angle blocks a brainbuster attempt, then hits the Angle Slam! Cover, but Aries kicks out. Angle stays on Aries, shooting him into the corner. Running clothesline by Angle, then the triple German suplexes! As Aries staggers around, Angle goes for the Angle Slam, but Aries drives his elbow into the back of Angle’s neck! As Angle drops him, Aries hits a backstabber, then locks in the Last Chancery. Angle tries to hold on, but eventually passes out. The referee awards the match to Aries, who celebrates with his Championship as we go off the air.

- December 8th, 2019: Coming out of No Surrender, many were surprised that Eli Drake retained the X Division Championship, as all signs pointed to EC3 capturing the gold, setting up him invoking Option C to win the World Title. And that was apparently the plan up until a few days before the show. So why did things change? That is unclear. We do know that EC3 is set to be part of the World Title scene in 2020, but he will apparently be taking a different route to get back to the belt.
Jon Moxley was busted open hardway during his match with Brian Cage. It happened from a punch, but was played off as being caused by Mox getting thrown into the ringpost. Mox went on to win the match is scheduled to have a Feast or Fired Qualifier on the December 18th edition of Impact. As for Cage, his contract with Impact will soon expire. It’s expected that he will re-sign, as his wife, Melissa Santos, is working for the company. But it’s also well-known that Cage has been working hurt for months, so it wouldn’t be unexpected to see him take time off to heal.
Austin Aries is still the Impact World Champion following No Surrender, defeating Kurt Angle as expected. Plans for Aries as Champion going forward are not clear at the moment, as the company is currently in the process of setting up future challengers for the gold. And there are still plans for the NWA and Impact World Championships to be unified. While Nick Aldis vs. Austin Aries would be an intriguing match, it’s believed that the company has something else in mind when the time comes.
Dr. Britt Baker was named the next challenger for Tessa Blanchard’s Impact Women’s Championship. It’s been noted that they seem to be having Tessa Blanchard run through the division in short order, as she’s already defeated Alexxiss Bliss, Sienna, Laura Dennis (now The Bunny), Awesome Kong and most recently, Rosemary. After Baker, there aren’t many new challengers for Blanchard, and all signs point to Maria Kanellis stepping in the ring to challenge Blanchard for the title herself.
There were some interesting developments in the tag team division at No Surrender. First of all, the Motor City Machine Guns seem poised for a heel turn, after they refused to shake hands with The Lucha Brothers after their title match. Also at No Surrender, the scheduled match between LAX and Samoa Joe and Low-Ki ended up not taking place, with the teams instead having a wild brawl. The plan is for a rematch on the December 18th Impact, possibly in a gimmick match of some sort.
Another match expected to be done over on a future episode of Impact is MJF vs. Jungle Boy. At No Surrender, Jack Perry got the win by disqualification, apparently another last minute change, as MJF was previously scheduled to win the match. It’s believed that the rematch will double as a Feast or Fired Qualifier.

I need someone who doesn't care about partial spoilers who I can bounce a few things off of. I have a general plan, but it feels a bit unwieldy, so a second opinion would be appreciated.
