He looks a decade younger than he did even a few months ago when he was promoting that Netflix show.

Scott Evil is still waiting to get his revenge. He don't need revenge. He's got Robot Chicken money now.

He does look rejuvenated. I was surprised about him having kids that young, but I do often forget part of why he fell off the map wasn't really related to projects that bombed, but because he met his wife, who is not a famous person, and has been just living his life.
I am sure Austin Powers or Wayne's World would both have high likelihoods of sucking, but I kind of wonder which has the better chance of being any good. Austin's easier from a baseline level, though Wayne's World would have more potential of being something special. That said, the only thing I can really think of to go with that is if Wayne, I dunno, formed his own network or something or took the show online, maybe scouted some up-and-comers to spare them from running afoul of a Benjamin type. I kind of suspect that it'd be one of those things like a Clerks 2-3 or Bill and Ted Face The Music type of thing, heavy on reflection, or else it'd just be kind of sad. Then again, 2 was already kind of sad.
Austin Powers is the easier option if you're talking about a cast, given Mike plays the two most important characters and Seth Green has been reduced to doing a show with an NFT, so I'm sure he's available. Wayne's World would be tougher, even if I want to say Myers has made peace with Dana Carvey and apologized to the director of the first film, though I am not positive about that. Tia Carrere is active and still looks great, so I mean, obviously they'd want her for it.
That said, unless he's just being really coy, it doesn't seem like he was treating either as a huge possibility.

As long as he's a little more humbled, I am fine with a Mike Myers return.
Don't get me wrong, the guy is super funny and I will always consider the original Austin Powers one of the most clever and funny comedies of all time. And while I don't care for the Wayne's World movies, I understand their appeal and appreciate them for what they are.
That said, the dude got a really big head about him after all his success and never kept anything in check. Any time he was given creative freedom, he went all out. Goldmember, The Cat in the Hat and The Love Guru...three of the worst movies I ever watched. He had the energy of a french birthday clown who keeps blowing a kazoo right in your ear and expecting you to laugh, while you're desperately trying to keep your hands away from any sharp items.
I hope the extended break was good for him, I know he hasn't been absent from movies, but he isn't the draw he once was. Hopefully that is a lesson for future comedians who decide to pull creative control.
