You saw it last night. And their Youtube channel is doing the same now.
Has this taken away your experience watching the show when the mute every half second?
Or is the solution for the crowd and superstars to say "holy crap"?

It's rly dumb and always makes me go "oh jesus christ dude" in the moment but it doesn't rly hurt my enjoyment at all, especially because they usually do a f***ing terrible job of censoring it and sometimes just let it go (most of the HOLY SHIT chants for Gallows/Anderson were uncensored on TV). I feel like I remember hearing that it was a FOX thing but they're doing it on USA and on Youtube now so big ol thinking emoji on that one.

It makes me want there to be a crowd that chants it for an entire show just to see how long they even try to cover it before finally just giving up.

I guess I get the thought behind it, but a completely unscripted presence on live TV is going to chant what they want and network executives should understand that. It's silly, but whatever.

From 1:34 to 1:50 you hear this weird dead air.
This is totally killing their product that want to be grown organically with crowd reactions.

Wait, the crowd chanted “Holy shit!” for The Good Brothers??
They deserve to be muted. In fact, never run that town again. In fact, knock down that arena and build a nice park where the people who chanted “Holy shit!” for The Good Brothers can sit and think about their decisions in life.

Damn, I don't think even the Dynamite live crowds at their "We're finally watching live wrestling again after COVID" markiest gave "Holy shit!" chants to the Good Brothers.

Andrew Zarian said this was one of the reasons they thought about moving to TV-14. They don't like having to do it either. It's also so odd that you have to censor shit while Miz talks for months about the size of his genitals.

See, I’m just like… Why now? This isn’t a new thing, crowds have been chanting that for like 20 years plus now.

They've been doing it for awhile now (I think, not sure about Youtube, but on TV for sure). It's one of the reasons I was kind of hoping they would go through with the change to TV-14 because they said if they did, they wouldn't have to bleep it. Alas...

Fun fact, at one point on Adult Swim, "Balls" got censored, but "Testicle Sacks" was ok to say, which is why it's a Rick and Morty gag at the end of Season 2

Shit has got be one of the least offensive 'bad words' ever, but it's treated like #2 to the big F-er.

I wouldn't doubt this is coming from sponsors. They're advertising on the show, tethering themselves yo the product. Maybe one of them finally watched the show and didn't like the language used.
And AEW has a hand in the blame. For almost 3 years, they had at least one person say "shit" on the show. Advertisers who play ads on both AEW and WWE shows would put their foot down on both.

First time watching a live WWE show in 6 weeks.
Zayn and Owens sound went out completely during the confrontation.
If this is the way HHH is gonna produce the show, it's CRAP.
ABSOLUTELY KILLED the moment.
