Formerly an annual staple of Bravo's around this time, before it became the Housewives channel. Anyone else been watching it? A new episode's dropped every week, and I believe this week is the finale. Something I was tickled by... {Spoiler} Scanners is in 11-20 or so. And it's just what you think. Only while other entries talk about the movie in general, the Scanners entry only talks about...THAT. And shows The Clip numerous times while doing so.

I watched the first two episodes and its pretty good. Doesn't compare to the Bravo Special but still a nice watch. I am glad they used the Mulholland Drive jump scare clip because that is arguable the best example of how to do a jump scare in a film.

I thought the series did a good job being balanced in terms of spreading out classic movies and newer ones. There was no bias in either direction, so it felt very fair in that regard. It was also good at having a variety of horror: slasher, sci-fi, psychological, supernatural, found footage, etc.
Basically, it felt like it was made by something that focuses on horror (which Shudder obviously is) as opposed to some throwaway list just created because it's close to Halloween.

Thought there were too many newer movies on the list. I think something needs to age for awhile before it can be considered one of the greatest anything.
As far as genuine scares, there were only two movies on the list where the scene creeped me out. Black Sabbath and The Conjuring.

Got lost in the shuffle of the movie, which is why it probably wasn't considered, but Krampus when you see the black shadow of the titular monster leaping house roofs in the blizzard in the background. That creeped me a bit when I originally saw it in the theater.
