Yes, I know — you can’t give everyone time every week with less than four hours of programming. But it’s a pretty big fall from ‘splashy debut’ to ’30 seconds.’ It’s indicative of the women’s division as a whole. It’s specific to Saraya — can she not wrestle? I also don’t get, with the conflicting reports, why she’s not with WWE. Some say Triple H wanted her back, and was willing to let her wrestle. Others say differently. She’s having a really odd second act. Bad take. It's building story to her and Britt and saving her debut to ppv. This feud has been handled very well.

I thought her promo with Britt came off very well. Like two, well, superstars. I hope her match goes great.

Damn she’s over a thousand years old. They say that during the Third Crusade, you could hear faint cries of "THIS IS MY HOUSE!" in the field of battle It was a big rub for her before jobbing out in the Anglo-Norman AND Anglo-French war back to back later on, really an outright burial (They'll tell you she got her heat back during the Loon War but real ones know the damage was done)

I was very openly critical of that terrible first promo but this was a huge step up. Most women are out-promoed by Britt but Saraya really held her own here and it was clear there was a lot of passion behind it. It was exactly what she's needed.

It's weird that Raya never said anything about the allegations against her parents, but then admita on live TV that they never paid her, and made her wrestle the day she got hit by a car.

Most women are out-promoed by Britt but Saraya really held her own here and it was clear there was a lot of passion behind it. It was exactly what she's needed. Two things struck me about this promo (other than Britt showing she’s a Panda Dunk Girl. Because of f***ing course she is 😂) 1. Britt’s part of the promo has some mild cringe IMO…but was over all good and I thought her tone of voice and cadence sold her piece well. AND she didn’t unnaturally wedge her catchphrase into it. And any time that happens is an A in my book. 2. Saraya I thought did great. Her genuine passion and emotion bled through the screen and you could tell she was coming from a place of “I thought I’d never get to do this again.” Her entrance music is still trash though. Overall really good segment and sold the match well. But…Britt’s JNCO’a and Panda Dunks look was certainly….a choice. 😂

I’m happy for Saraya being cleared, but my expectations are a bit tempered in terms of this upcoming match with Dr. Baker. Not just because of the ring rust, either.
Let me put it like this… The matches she had in NXT with Emma were setting the new peak standards for women’s wrestling in national-level US companies. However, that would later be surpassed by the next wave of talents coming in, starting with the group later collectively referred to as the NXT Horsewomen. I’m concerned that Saraya may not even be able to reach her 2013-2014 levels, let alone be in with a shot at surpassing it. But I’d be glad to be proven wrong.

I had similar thoughts when Lita and Trish came back for their matches. They weren't the greatest women's matches of the year, but they weren't anywhere near embarrassing, and I feel this will be the same. I think the emotion will carry the match and it will turn out fine, but not a blow-away matchup. I always struggle with a person's first match back like this. Same thing happened with Shibata and Danielson where I pay more attention to every bump out of fear for the performer. These situations do add tension but not always the right kind for me. It goes away after a while, but it takes a few matches/bumps for me to get comfortable.

Well-delivered promo by Saraya this week on Dynamite.
I liked seeing the RamPaige again.

Saraya wrestling 1 match per month wouldnt be a bad idea, you kinda keep her as a special attraction.

Good for her and I hope that the doctor is right, because the last time that we saw her in the ring getting collapsed from a light kick is no way to be.
Cautiously optimistic.

Hold her for ppvs with the occasional tag on Dynamite and I think that’d be the best way to handle it.

Good that she admitted she screwed up, when she mentioned that she wrestled in the Tokyo Dome I was also expecting her to say she used to wrestle 400 days a year...

Meltzer is disappointed to hear about the Tokyo Dome.
I really liked that segment between her and Baker though. Lots of fire.
I'm not expecting her first match back to be great because she has to work off years of ring rust. But some Dark/Elevation matches to hone her craft could do her wonders after the return.
