There was an issue with his physical as his contract signing hand wasn't working.

My over/under on Daley hating Carlos Correa is 2 years lmfao This post just got so much funnier. My hate is with Farhan / Ownership. Nothing against Correa, I still love that cheating dirtbag for beating LA. 😂

So who are those Giants doctors that screwed this up, they work for the Jets too?
Anyway good for the Mets, the New York teams have screwed up the Giants twice, I guess that is the revenge for them moving 65 years ago.

Steve Cohen: "Screw the rules, I have money."
I wonder what the hell happened. Between Judge deciding to stay in New York and this stuff with Correa, it makes the Baseball Giants look like an incompetent organization.

So I don't feel so bad about the Red Sox' off-season, because at least we didn't have Aaron Judge for a few hours or Carlos Correa for a few days before having the rug pulled out from under us on both occasions.

The Giants were strictly used as leverage to get what he wanted from his team. Incompetence is Correa though. They overratcted to losing their guy, and immediately had second thoughts. And they found a bullshit reason to escape the deal.

Ottavino back in Queens. Guess that kills the Liam Hendricks rumor. Given how Cohen's operating right now, I won't say anything's over until the season officially begins. Still a good move; Ottavino's been great against righties, Robertson's got good splits, Diaz still the closer. The only "need" the Mets still arguably have is an outfielder who can split time with Mark Canha and help with giving Nimmo and Marte days off. Pollack is the perfect fit for that role. Hits lefties well and can play all 3 OF positions.

Yeah I could buy that Judge was using the Giants as leverage, but backing out on the Correa deal is strange and does make them (SF) look second rate. Unless there was something legitimately wrong with his physical, but then that doesn't explain why the Mets swooped in and got him. If he passes the Mets physical, then something was definitely up, and if it turns out to be cold feet by the Giants front office, then players in the future are not going to forget that.

I always preferred Officer Jenny myself. Also Jesse from Team Rocket.

So once the Yankees got bounced from the ALCS this season, the NY Post ran with this back page to say what the Yankees should do to get back to the promised land.
Three of the four guys on this back page are Mets now.

And they found a bullshit reason to escape the deal. All we heard here was that Judge's childhood team was the Giants, how he promised his high school sweetheart (now his wife) that he wanted to play for the Giants, and how the Giants wouldn't be outspent. Then you had Heyman's Arson Judge tweet and a SF beat reporter saying that the club thought they had him locked in. Definitely painted the picture that Judge was about to sign there.

It was a decade old interview, that didn’t matter except to drive the narrative. And the Arson Judge tweet was 100% a ploy to drive the Yankees to pay up. It was never going to happen.
