FO really have to evaluate why people don’t want to be there |

FO really have to evaluate why people don’t want to be there Ohtani’s already a Dodger. They’re punting this offseason with one-years to clear out for him. No one’s ever signing in SF after this mess. It’s cool tho, Farhan will go out and get some AAAA level backup catchers/utility men to fill the roster. |

Makes you think though. If not for whatever gentlemanly agreement we had with the Yanks, Judge could have been ours.

Hell, the last time Yankees had an offseason like this was the infamous 2009 one when they traded for Nick Swisher, and signed 3 of the top 5 free agents that offseason in CC Sabathia, Mark Texeria and AJ Burnett |

Now, now, let's not forget that in terms of percentage, the Yankees at the height of their financial power (2005 or so) outspent their closest competition (Boston 2nd, Mets 3rd) by a higher percentage than the Mets are outspending the next teams on the payroll list this year, at least as of now. ...I mean, the Mets are also doing it with about $110 million in tax penalties that the '05 Yankees probably didn't have to pay, but let's ignore that for the purposes of making it easier to defend my point! |

The Giants allegedly backed out of the Correa deal because of his ankle injury from 2014. It’s something that hasn’t been a problem at all since.
