Yankees may be the worst team in the AL East (Granted, the difference between 5th and 3rd in the AL East is a game in the loss column), but even they can sweep the hapless A's.
I really feel for the A's though. That is a sorry team.

Yankees may be the worst team in the AL East (Granted, the difference between 5th and 3rd in the AL East is a game in the loss column), but even they can sweep the hapless A's. Harrison Bader, my best friend in this life, is again proving to just be a better baseballer than Aaron Judge and if not for their antiquated policy he would also still have better hair than Aaron Rodgers. The only Aaron in his league is Hank.

Boone for some reason keeps running with someone like Abreu who has great stuff but can't do shit with it and always f***s up
The BP is already overworked 1/4 into the season and the offense has not looked good at all. Sure, you can say wait until they get healthy but this is on them for not having the depth at all and just hoping shit works out for them

I'm so used to Cleveland not getting their shit together until mid-June the earliest if they're going to be competitive in a given year, so I'm just kind of shrugging off how astoundingly inconsistent they've been lately. I've heard for years in Chicago about "Oh, if the weather would just warm up, so-and-so [Alexei Ramirez/Jose Abreu/name any Caribbean player] would start hitting like mad!" And these are the columnists in the paper! |

Maybe it's just the breakdown of which teams are rooted for on this board, but man, I actually was just like, dang, who's actually good this year?
Even actually going to the MLB standings page the only division that's really "as expected" is the NL West, and who the heck actually picked Tampa to run away with things?
