I went to the Giants game today. A 1-0 loss on an 8th inning error kind of sucks. But I’d rather lose like that than with the dumbass stupid extra inning ghost runner.

Austin Nola is f***ing worthless. We should just have our pitchers throw to the backstop, it'd be the same difference. He has to be adopted, there's no way him and Aaron Nola can share the same DNA, considering the talent discrepancy.

Christopher Morel, again. Season has been a mixed bag. But if he’s for real, that is a huge development for the future of this team. And Morel does it again today, I have no clue at all why this dude was kept down to murder AAA pitching to start the season, and I also do not get David Ross pretty much going "I cant guarantee playing time for him" when he was called up. Awful AWFUL road trip though! And a terrible stretch of baseball being played too. Cubs need to get better bullpen guys and Ross needs to figure out how to manage a pen too.

If this Red Sox score holds up, it will be a pretty good day for the Yankees. The only negative is the freaking Blue Jays can't beat the Orioles, but that is fine, they will just do it themselves, and I be disappointed if the Yankees don't sweep the Orioles, I mean they are at home they have their best 2 pitchers going, sweep the O's, that is not asking too much.

Over the past 30 games, except for the historically bad A's. The Cubs have been the worst team in baseball. Playing at a .308 clip. That is pretty alarming. They weren’t going to be a WS contender, but they damn sure should be better than this.

I've grown to like the ghost runner when it's like a 6-6 game, but I wish there was an exception for a 0-0 or even a 1-1 game. Let the pitching duel keep going.

Baltimore looking good, sweeping division rivals the Blue Jays today. Orioles going to be a problem for years. Their farm system still has a bunch of really good hitting prospects coming up too, which means they'll get even more help or use those pieces in trades for pitching. This is the start of their run, IMO.

Another Mets comeback win. Unreal. This team is doing great things again. You can tell the bullpen is tired as hell, but the offense is waking up/the young guys are settling in, and the starting pitching is starting to round into form, though just have to be careful that's not just a product of facing Cleveland's relatively weak lineup. If they get through another turn of the rotation and at bare minimum they have Verlander, Scherzer, and Senga looking solid, I'll start feeling a lot better about things. This week was major progress, but they have to keep it going.

But in a move that wouldn’t make much sense, Olney suggested the Mets are going to send down Alvarez when Nido and Navarrez get back. You know with stuff like this and non stop platoons, that takes time away from the better players, I’m starting to sense that Buck ain’t that great of a skipper.

I don't think there's any prayer of that happening, though if it does it'd be one of those "just for a week or so until the roster spots get juggled how we want them." I don't really trust Olney's takes on stuff like that.

Phillies are just about dead to me right now
All that just to be on the fast track to having the EXACT SAME RECORD as last season under Girardi
This was supposed to be a better team and this was supposed to be a better season. If I'm Dombrowski and Topper I wouldn't sit on that World Series appearance and consider it job security. This team is a complete and utter incoherent disaster right now.
And holy shit Trea Turner, absolutely robbing us to start your career, painful to watch any of it.

Liking the Baltimore City Uniforms I dig the cap, and I do think it's cool to see the O's finally have a jersey with the city's name on the front. That said, the jersey itself feels a little plain; I like the "vibrant colors inside that are just visible" idea, the overall look isn't bad or anything, but I guess the all-black kit feels a little overdone to me now. Still, at least there seemed to be some real thought put into these; given how consistent the O's look has been, I can imagine a lot of fans gravitating to these just due to how different they are from their normal style.

This is the start of their run, IMO. And they're doing this with the top prospect in baseball, Gunnar Henderson, barely hitting his weight.
