It's not like Cole is out there facing Oakland. The O's have a legitimately good offense. Yes, the concern that Cole is giving up bombs recently, but Baltimore can put runs on the board without the HRs, as demonstrated tonight.

The bullpen is both gassed (Pretty much everyone), injured (Kahnle, Trivino, Effross, Hamilton, Loaisiga), and ineffective (Holmes, Abreu, Marinaccio). The thing to do would've been to pull Cortes as soon as he gave up the walk, but no. A competent manager, and not the GM's toy soldier, who has even a little bit of feel for the game would've done so.

Gabe Kapler's tenure in San Francisco reminds me in many ways of Mike Vrabel's coaching job with the Tennessee Titans. Both are former players who get the absolute most out of their teams and individual players, even though they're a star or two from truly competing for a championship.

That 2021 Giants team had no right being anywhere near 107 wins, and honestly, it's kind of impressive that he's had a .500 record with the 2022 and 2023 editions.

David Ross is a idiot, Reds starting pitcher who stat wise just dominates lefties so Ross starts 5 left handed hitters against him, Suzuki who is one of our best hitters against fastball pitchers and stat wise usually does gangbusters against guys who throw over 95, he sits on the bench today. Then Ross brings in our best reliver in the 9th while we are down 9 - 0 for reasons...I have no clue why this dude still has a job.

Also for the love of god, Marquee needs a option to change the audio to the radio play by play caus when they are at Wrigley, Joe Girardi is part of the commentary team and he loves hearing himself talk, and he has such a Dave Meltzer voice, so two hours of THAT is torture!

The line-up moves are very questionable, especially against very hittable Reds pitching. But I don't fault him for pitching a reliever who has pitched one inning in the last 9 days.

Though Kody Clemens has been really stepping up and essentially forcing more playing time because of it there.

I want to launch David Ross onto the scoreboard where Schwarber hit that moonshot against the Cardinals in 2015...him insisting on using Fulmer in high leverage situations when only 1 or 2 runs are the difference and Fulmer continuing to shit himself on the mound just makes me so so mad! Also Ross just not knowing how to make a line up, I dont think he has had a single consistent line up over 2 games yet this season. AWFUL!

David Ross needs to go, and the Cubs also need to assemble some sort of actual bullpen as well. I am done with this Ross experiment, we spent big this offseason and right now the Cubs are the worst team in the NL, and as if getting swept by the Reds couldnt get worse, Cubs did a promotion bobblehead of Billy Williams, one of the best players we ever had, we retired his number, and have a statue of him outside of Wrigley. We gave out bobbleheads of him yesterday AND HE HAS THE WRONG JERSEY NUMBER! This team and organization is a joke right now. Send Ross packing, and this time when you do your interview process for a new manager dont team up with Sony and have potential managers play MLB The Show as part of their interview process. Which legit happened when they hired Ross.
