Honestly you could make a case that the faces need to win against the Bloodline in the men's match, but the heels need to win in the women's match. Unfortunately I don't either of those results happening. Because WWE and Triple H is hellbent on keeping the status quo.
And in the case of the women, you could make the argument that Iyo, Dakota, and Nikki are clearly being portrayed as the weakest links in their team. Where Team Bianca has none, because every member except Asuka is or will be getting protected booking right now. I just hope Triple H realizes (he probably doesn't) that the more he continues to pile on these types of losses for Damage CTRL, the harder it will get for him to actually push Iyo or Dakota as a singles star in the future and actually get fans behind them. Because they haven't been portrayed as even remotely a threat as singles competitors. And it's only going to get worse because I have a feeling Becky is going to bulldoze over both of them before beating Bayley, and pushing the group even deeper into the hole, if not outright dooming Iyo and Dakota's careers for the longterm future.

Ideally you would want the team without the world champion to win so you can build up an immediate title challenger. Plus the whole Bloodline story is finally giving them their comeuppance. Time will tell to see if they follow through on that. The women's one is weirder because the heels should win but Becky is back so I don't see them having her on the losing side.

I mean the heels should win in the women's match regardless. Otherwise Bianca has literally no one left to feud with, and her reign is already approaching an event horizon in terms of fan interest. She's cooled off massively over the past several months and I don't think it is entirely due to Damage CTRL either. Her character has faced pretty much zero adversity ever since she lost the SD Title to Becky, and working with her has done damage to every other woman, regardless of their alignment with her. Her character just quite frankly sucks as well. Being the EST of everything is an incredibly shallow gimmick, and her promos have gotten beyond stale. You can have Bianca get pinned by Rhea, to set up a feud between them, and have Rhea beat Mia in the buildup. You can spin off Becky into a feud with Damage CTRL post Wargames as well. Maybe pair her up with Asuka or something. Because Alexa has negative levels of chemistry with Asuka. Alexa can go feud with Nikki or something. There's way more upside to the heels winning the women's match than the faces. I think Becky can lose her first match back, she just won't eat the pin. But if Damage CTRL + Friends lose, they are dead in the water. I also think people are overthinking the faces/heels splitting the War Games wins as well.

Becky can also afford to lose her first match back(especially when she doesn't have to take the pin) since she's going to end up winning the feud against Bayley and Damage Ctrl.

Damage CTRL have come back from the dead more times than the Undertaker if you're to be believed. You literally treat every match they're in as life or death. There's been at least 3 or 4 times you've said IYO's career was killed and she should ask for her release. I don't know if it's intentional hyperbole or just being a passionate fan and wanting her to win all the time but trust me, she's not doomed if she loses tomorrow. It's a major match on a big 4 PPV and she's going to get a chance to have a great match in a historic gimmick. People who are doomed don't get put into spots like that. Like since debuting on the main roster she's had 14 TV/PPV matches. She's won 10 and lost 3 with 1 no-contest. She gets a bunch of TV time. She's main evented Raw multiple times. She's a champion. She's already had moments at multiple stadium shows. Like she's objectively had a very impressive first 4 months (yes, that's literally all it's been) and you continue to act like she's Braden Walker or something.

Yeah, but you see, Belair hit her and Kai with a double KOD when they made a run-in, so that’s the same thing as being Duane Gill or Barry Horowitz. (Thank f*** someone else is over the doomposting, I feel so alone in all this sometimes)

Like she's objectively had a very impressive first 4 months (yes, that's literally all it's been) and you continue to act like she's Braden Walker or something. Yes, because ready for this not so shocking fact? She's portrayed as incredibly weak in the ring and as a character. All of Damage CTRL is. The faction had potential until Triple H made the all time bad decision of swerving everyone and putting the tag titles on Raquel and Aliyah just for the sake of a godawful swerve no one wanted. That pretty much killed any sort of momentum they had, and it only got worse from there with Bianca effortlessly chumping on all three members damn near every week. Iyo has won ONE singles match clean, and that was against Dana Brooke. Otherwise she's eating the pins or having to go to extreme cheating lengths to win (along with Bianca squashing her pretty much twice in singles matches, even though they were extended squashes). This is why I'm pissed off about this entire thing. Iyo was an asskicker in NXT, and cool as hell, even when she was a heel. And that was under Triple H's regime. On the main roster she's portrayed as a coward who has to constantly cheat and is weak. Which is also under Triple H's regime. It's pretty clear he doesn't see her as even remotely on the level of a future main eventer. He is just going to be content pushing Charlotte, Becky, Ronda, and Bianca as the centerpieces of the division, along with Rhea. Every other woman is basically just cannon fodder for those names I just mentioned. Because god forbid a woman as talented as Iyo be pushed as a main eventer and one of the company's biggest stars like she should be. Because she's a generational talent, being treated as basically fodder for Bianca, and likely Becky.

Good thing I double-checked because I thought this show was on Sunday.
Hoping the heels win the women's match and the faces win the men's match, but WWE is All Bianca & Bloodline All the Time so I highly doubt either's happening.

Because she's a generational talent, being treated as basically fodder for Bianca, and likely Becky. Okay but can’t you just admit it’s just a case of you being a fan and wanting to see her win more and be the top person without being so melodramatic about it? Sasha and Becky were my favorites around 2015-18 and if I had my way they’d have been champion a lot more but I didn’t pretend any time they lost a match it was a travesty. Sometimes your favorite isn’t on top. It happens. And it doesn’t mean they won’t be in the future. Why does this match even matter? You already said they were finished a month or two ago and should ask for their release. How can this match doom them if you already had them dead and buried? Are you willing to admit that you over-exaggerated and maybe, just maybe, losing a big time match to the top babyfaces in the company doesn’t mean someone’s career is irrevocably damaged? I saw Steve Austin on the pre-show at Summerslam getting no reaction from the crowd then by Wrestlemania he was the hottest star in the company. I saw John Cena lose clean to Billy Kidman on Velocity then 6 months later he was the hottest star in the company. I saw Mark Henry wrestling on Superstars every week then 6 months later he was the hottest star in the company. I saw Becky Lynch left off the Wrestlemania card then 6 months later she was the hottest star in the company. I saw Rhea Ripley bomb as a babyface champion and people saying she was ruined and now she’s the hottest star in the company (okay, after Sami). Do I have to give more examples? I love Iyo and think she’s in a very good spot for someone less than 4 months into her main roster run. 6 months ago I never thought I’d see her have a major debut at Summerslam in front of 50,000 fans. Or have a great match and beat the champion in front of 60,000 fans in the UK. Or have another war games match but on the main roster at a historic PPV in the top feud on Raw. I don’t get how it’s possible to be a fan of hers and be SO negative and not acknowledge that this is actually pretty cool the stuff she’s already done in such a short time even if you (as do I) eventually want her to go solo and be champion.

On the flipside, I've seen Sheamus spend years absolutely ice-cold due to shite booking. I've seen Dolph Ziggler come out to crickets due to years of the rug being pulled out from under his feet. I've seen Braun Strowman having all of his heat pissed away due to failing to get the job done time and time again. Sure, people can come back from bad booking, but it can take ages. On that note, it's great to see Sheamus finally back in the main event and the feeling that he belongs there.

Unless the plan is for one of the Brawling Brutes/Drew/KO to be taken out of the match, not sure how having them have the advantage is meant to work.

I was super looking forward to the men's match and was kind of meh on the women's match. Now I'm much more interested in the women's one with Becky back and now am not as interested in the men's with the moronic decision to give the faces the advantage. Why they must insist on doing this with one of the Wargames every year is beyond me. I get that you don't want it looking far fetched that the heels having the advantage in every one but that doesn't mean you to split it every damn year either. If anything always splitting it every years make it look fake.
Also on top of that it usually means the match is going to be nowhere near as good because the whole structure of the match is ass backwards with the heels always on the defense and having to play catch up. As a result you get nonsense like in the last years women's Wargames with two babyfaces Cora Jade and Kay Lee Ray bullying and beating the crap out of Dakota Kai two on one and then Gigi Dolin coming in and making the save while fighting off both faces by herself like she's 1987 Road Warrior Animal or something despite being part of the top heel faction. It's just dumb.
Only time you can get away with it is if you have a dominant giant hoss who can neutralize the odds a bit where the faces still feel like they are in jeopardy like Raquel Gonzalez in 2019. Nobody in the Bloodline is like that. I guess you could argue Solo but not really as both Sheamus and McIntyre are bigger then him. Reigns is the final boss so you don't want him coming too early. Usos are tag specialists and then Sami Zayn is a weasley heel character.

Looked to see what popped up in the WarGames section on Peacock to get in the mood and stumbled upon Great American Bash 89. Seeing Paul E. Dangerously running around shirtless in his underwear would be quite traumatizing to see Paul Heyman doing in 2022.

Surely The Bloodline has to lose this one. If they don't, do they run the risk of fans leaving future shows involving The Bloodline early because they know what's going to happen. What they can do is either: Jey or Sami accidentally hits the other leading to the finish. Jey or Sami is either being pinned or in a submission and the other can clearly makes the save but doesn't. Bloodline needs to look vulnerable in major match. Also expecting Rhea to look very strong as well They could plant the seed by Sammy getting the win and that driving Jey over the Edge

With Becky now back I will be surprised if the heels look like any sort of threat outside of Rhea because they damn sure aint winning this match.
Which sucks because the heels NEED to win this because if not because like I said you may as well stick that fork in Dmg Cntrl because as a group they will be done...they have single handedly been constantly chumped out by Bianca....and Bianca is what I been saying is the worst kind of babyface there is which is one with no flaw.
If the heels do not win here they will have chumped out every single credible heel woman on Raw....and Rhea is inevitably next on the Bianca hit list because she aint winning the title while she has that Beth feud looming.
I wanna be surprised and the heel women win tonight...but Becky just came back and I have a better chance of waking up in Megan Rains bed tommorow morning.

Yeah, Bianca and Becky are winning tonight. Rhea probably gets protected enough to get the title shot at The Rumble before a Beth match at 'Mania. I could see her taking the title in to that match, though I dont know where that leave Bianca for WM.
Becky likely moves in to a feud with Bayley, crushing Io and Dakota every week.
Charlotte likely returns at the Rumble to win again, 30 years since her dad did, to challenge Ronda at 'Mania.
