Ricky Steamboat from '91-'94 in WCW. No matter where he was on the card, you are getting a good to great match.

Jerichos second 07-10 run was better than his 99-05 run and he was solidified as a Main Event talent

Don't know if this counts, but I feel like Finlay's comeback in WWE was better than his WCW run, and I thought it'd flop. I thought Finlay would flop in WCW, but he actually had pretty good runs in both companies. Go figure. Thats odd to me because I thought vice-versa; when I first saw Belfast Bruiser on WCW Saturday Night, I thought, this guy will be a key player one day.

100% Sid in 1996-97 (I guess that was technically his third run, after 1991-92 and 1995). The frenemy stuff with Shawn was great and actually made me care about him.

Psycho Sid was far better than Sid Justice. 2006-2009 Jeff Hardy was a mega star. Makes me wonder how did he become (mostly) such an afterthought at the end of his last run Sid's final run in WCW was also better than the first two. Sid's 1995 run in the WWF was the worst. His feud with Diesel kind of ruined the character for me.

Hall and Nash had better runs in 1996 than they had before in WCW

He was the first eliminated in the Wild Card match, basically the loser role of the group. And even though he was in the main event like three months the WWF scene was so awful it may as well been the mid card scene. Sid does have a mystique about him. His name was mentioned a few times at a gathering of indy wrestlers and was mentioned by a store owner I used to work yesterday.

Personally, I think his 91-92 run was his best WWF run. Yeah, he didn't win the belt during that run, but for the whole duration he was either top babyface or top heel, and his booking was most consistent. Plus 'Sid Justice' was just a better character than Sycho Sid. Justice evolved whereas Sycho Sid constantly vacillated back and forth between dude who is powerbombing Sweatsock's son through tables for laffs to dude who doesn't ask for title rematch from Undertaker because Taker "carries the belt with honor".

Wait, what?! That was really the storyline reason Sid never asked for a rematch?

Last Raw before KoTR 97 that's the reason he gives for having not asked for the rematch, but then proceeds to demand a rematch because Taker succumbed to Paul Bearer something something.

Becky Lynch was a decently popular figure in the mid 2000s women's indy scene, retired for years then came back and became one of the most popular wrestlers in the world and an all-time legend. In fact there was a period when she was THE most popular wrestler which I believe is the only time ever a female has been the biggest star in a national US promotion.
