Especially ones that you’re almost positive we’ll never get.
Inspired by the Pineapple Express 2 sequence from This is the End.
Also, I remember when Old School first came out and a sequel was listed a to be made sequel was listed on IMDB that we never got. Still hasn’t come out and Old School came out in 2003 so I’m not too optimistic.

Thirteen ghosts, with 80% more focus on the actual ghosts.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon 2
They discover Bigfoot's lair on the moon and it's revealed he's the genius-progenitor-god of the Transformers.

I think the best one I can come up with is Dredd
Real Steel - MORE BOXING ROBOTS
Serenity - The time has probably passed to do this, but I just love that universe
A Galaxy Quest 2 could have been fun, but not without Alan Rickman (I think they might have been even developing one but stopped after he passed)
Man From UNCLE - presumably with 100% less Armie Hammer considering his issues
District 9, though Neill Blomkamp's follow ups never quite reached those same heights

Master and Commander. Still pisses me off that it flopped and we never got more films in the franchise as there were still quite a few books left to adapt. It’s too late now though to continue with the Crowe/Bettany partnership in it and if they decide to start them again at some point, I very much doubt they’d have those two starring and Peter Weir directing.
Just read that they’re now looking to try and get a prequel made. I’m good with that but I still wanted more of what we initially got.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, wasn't a big success but Val Kilmer's health would come into play now
The Nice Guys makes up for no sequel though

Bring It On. Just ignore the existing sequels.
The Coverdale school is in danger of closing. They organise a cheer event to raise funds. Some of the original cast have kids there, they come up with the idea of their parents generation reuniting to compete one last time in a veterans category.
Then it's time for comedy and pathos as we see how their lives turned out and how they changed (or didn't) as they try to recapture the old days.

Dredd
Given the incredibly rich lore of the comics, and the current ongoing political debate about fascism worldwide, there was a ton of potential here.

The Butterfly Effect, tho a reboot obviously. (And yes I am aware of the shitty direct to dvd sequels) The idea behind the movie was cool, and with better actors and no plotholes, it would be interesting to see.

I thought that there was talk about a Dredd sequel recently. Anyways, another one crossed my mind: "Atlas Shrugged 4: The Return". The John Galt Utopians have to reconnect with the rest of the world and find out that the rest of the world has been getting along fine without them.

Starsky and Hutch. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson always have great chemistry, and it could’ve been a franchise in the mold of Lethal Weapon.

I thought that there was talk about a Dredd sequel recently. Karl Urban said over the summer that if his schedule allows he'd love to star in the proposed Mega-City One TV series and has been approached by the producers. Olivia Thirlby has also expressed a desire to return, but whether the show happens greatly depends on whether any of the big streaming companies want to take a chance on it. Rumours suggest Amazon are tempted but want to wait until The Boys concludes first.
