Dude is f***ing killing it, future top heel.
I already enjoyed him but dude is speaking like a champion, full of confidence and smoothly, compared to how wooden he was at first.

They've invested into both Hobbs and Ricky it seems very equally, and that's a very wise decision, they should both be fighting for a world title some day, in a match against each other.

Wardlow isn't doing much with the TNT, strap my boy Hobbs up then build Ricky to beat him. Let's get the TNT title interesting because it's been garbage this year.

After reading the first post I was about to post pretty much exactly this. Strap up Powerhouse, Wardlow & Joe can feud over the TV title and then just have Hobbs wreck fools until Ricky challenges him going into the next PPV. Writes itself and the match should be a banger if given time

I freaking love Hobbs. Every year he's gotten better and better. He seems very comfortable on the mic these days too which may have been his only stumbling block to being a main event player. Would love him to take the TNT title on Saturday.

Guy was grinding on the indies for a decade and the highest he got was CWFH and he came to AEW a solid guy who filled a very big niche but sort of lacking in something. Dude found it big time and it's all snapped into place perfectly for him now. He's young, he's put the pieces together, and if there is any sense in that company, he's going to be a huge deal in the next few years.

I want to see that world title round this man's waist one day and much sooner than that I want him to look great losing to the champ at the time

Hobbs really grew in Team Taz. He slowly grew into that "Enforcer/Boss Goon" role and now he's ready for the next step.

I would agree though if they would actually put some stock behind OC i would give it to him. The title run has been the best thing to happen to the guy yet he can't even get on the shows or the promotional flyers.

Hobbs has shown consistent improvement. His solo heel run has been underwhelming but I don’t put that on him. And stillhis presence has come a long way. I don’t necessarily think he’s been built up right for the TNT title…but at this point, I hope he gets it on Saturday. It’s doing Wahrdawg no service, Joe does not f***ing need it. I’d let Hobbs take it and do what he can with it. Goes Uber heel or maybe transition into a face out of it. The TNT title’s stock has plummeted. Hobbs might be able to rescue it.

Yeah Hobbs has been improving greatly and I think is ready for a strong singles push. The issue with Wardlow and the TNT title is that Wardlow squashed MJF and prior to that basically squashed Punk too before the screwy finish. Giving him a mid card title after he destroyed main eventers was not a good idea. That's why, along with some questionable booking, it feels like he is spinning his wheels. Hobbs would benefit from a mid card title run and he's ready for it. Make the switch, especially now that Joe is involved so Wardlow doesn't have to take the pin.

He's a guy I'm yet to "get". Goofy promo, looks like a nice quiet shy guy who's been told "act mean" and sort of nothingy matches for me. Team Taz was boring but at least Cage was decent, the Starks/Hobbs stuff did nothing for me
Nice spinebuster though
