Serious question: is there even a point for anyone who isn't a nazi to stay on Twitter at this point? It's only gonna get worse until the site inevitably shuts down, you can't advertise anything of worth there, trying to get news from it is pointless, you can't choose what you see any more, anything short of neo-nazi propaganda gets no visibility (made even worse by the fact that people without an account can't really see anything) and more and more people are leaving for other platforms. I'm not a nazi. I only got on twitter after musk took over. It is still toxic as f***, just seems like toxic on the opposite end of the spectrum it use to be toxic. But I don't contribute, just look around. It's great for news, info and a laugh. I'm all for a new social media thing that doesn't suck though. Facebook is a graveyard. The gram comes off shallow as f***. X is a toilet. Snap is stupid lol forums are about dead. Cmon web eggheads. I want the new new!  once the A.i. fad dies off they'll get round to making something decent if they dont get distracted by the new shiny fad. |

I have curated a pretty good feed of local news (I live in the country so "local" news isn't that local) and funny stuff. Twitter was hard to do because of how many wrestling personalities are on there but stuff from there usually makes it here pretty fast so that helped. |

Facebook - I rarely go there but when I was active, I only shared memes and what not. Sometimes, I got something about politics here and there.
Twitter - I mostly retweet motivational phrases, interesting photos, among things that interest but not of political tone. I rarely came across something that deemed controversial. Same with my project account, I mostly had my feed with anything related with what I want to share/communicate.
Instagram - My personal account hasn't been active since high school, so basically ten years. My project account on the other hand, kinda like Twitter, I mostly have curated anything that relates my project. I rarely see something controversial on my feed.
I'm still surprised I don't catch up with controversial topics unless I look up for them.

That (Ai) is the nu-nu. Unless they come up with an idea for a platform infused with it that makes money/generates consumership , yeah they're probably just going to keep focusing on that. Not too mention I think augment reality is what they've got their sight on after vr flopped. I always wanted a platform that was like half-social networking/half anonymous. |
