I imagine the states that have like 10 people living in them don't get many wrestling shows.
When's the last time a major promotion did a show on Hawaii? Probably more a travel issue, since you're technically flying to a entirely different continent (Hawaii is considered a part of Oceania) more than lack of interest.

Could said TNA event possibly also double as attempting to recruit local favorite Eric Bischoff to the fold? (Event was in May, he joined near the end of the year.)

Has there ever been a show in Alaska? I still laugh about how on the GM Mode in Smackdown vs. Raw 2006 that there would be a Raw in Anchorage, and back then, I was like "when has there ever been a show held in Alaska?"
Also, have there ever been shows in Maine? I know in the same game, Jim Ross mentioned that a show was held in Portland, Maine, but I don't know if there have been a lot of shows held in that state. Then again, when it comes to New England states, I know that Backlash was held in Manchester, New Hampshire.

In terms of indies, WrestlePro runs shows like twice a year in Alaska, and Limitless Wrestling out of Maine is one of the most underrated indies in all of the US.

Figured you sir would mention Limitless. Great fed. Plus there is a few smaller feds up in Maine.

I just know that for how small Iowa is... there's a lot of pro wrestling. I live in the middle of jack crap nowhere and at least once a month I can drive an hour and hit anything from mini wrestling in bars to WWE RAW.

Look at Mississippi,we are one of hte lower populated states. And most weekends there is a show within a 4 hour drive from me.
The thing with indie wrestling is in the smaller states unless you know where to look online you wont see much mention of it.
Hell how many of yall had heard of a indie in MS or seen a match until I started posting stuff on here?
Sure it is is the same with at least half or more of the other states.

Towards the end of ROH last year I remember Ian on commentary mentioning that some of their talent had been working in Alaska. I believe Lethal, LSG and maybe 1 or 2 others. So there are some shows running there.
I met someone from Hawaii on the Jericho Cruise that I've kept in contact with the last few years. She says aside from the occasional WWE house show they're pretty wrestling starved out there. The only other thing she mentioned was some small indie show that had Austin Aries on it pre pandemic.
I was listening to a Podcast a week or 2 ago that had the same topic. Wyoming has never been a part of any territory just because it's so secluded and the population is so small.

Those folks plus CB, yes! They run regularly enough now to maintain storylines, etc. Re: Maine ROH ran Lewiston in 2018 and Portland was a critical WWWF town well into the Backlund reign. Side note: my hometown of the region I am from (Lehigh Valley) has 60% more people than Wyoming and it is 1/135th the size of Wyoming.

In terms of indies, Timebomb Pro Wrestling runs shows regularly in Fargo, ND. They even got to book Minoru Suzuki during his big indie tour last year.
