Judgment Day 2008. Not a great show on paper or in practice, but it was the Sunday night after the weekend I graduated NYU so I was looking forward to it as like one last great thing to cap off the weekend.
We did get Randy Orton's first great promo and the debut of "Voices," so that's something.

I got into wrestling through 1999/2000 WCW. So a lot of it was all uphill after that. The first PPV I bought was Uncensored 2000, I dare you to find a less appealing looking mainstream show.
I also used to go to Mania parties every year, but after the miserable 34 show, I realised I wasn't enjoying it anymore and haven't watched one since. I also don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

I missed that years Royal Rumble for the same reason

It didn’t suck but I remember our Vice Principal came over the PA saying because we missed a day for reasons I don’t recall, probably snow, we had to make up a day on the weekend. I said to him “I can do Saturday, but Sunday WrestleMania 8”. It was April Fool’s but I was 9 and dead serious.
