Especially with 10 being one of -1's in kayfabe and out of kayfabe favorite wrestlers. His hero used his father's finisher to destroy the other members of the cult his adopted extended family his father created. Then he threw the mask in the face of the kid who idolized him.

Agreed, I think they played the turn so well, especially using Negative One, who is really good in his own right to sell it as well as he did

They made this a really good blood feud, the buildup to it wasn't super in your face but this moment makes it that a lot of people are gonna be very interested to see how it goes after this.

It seriously saddens me to see further disintegration from The Dark Order. But this was a well done heel turn and I'm looking forward to whatever happens next.

The absolute piss worst part of face Dark Order has been how Hangman is the only one who gets to win anything halfway meaningful. Give it to Uno, give it to Silver, do literally anything but another situaiton where all the other guys are losers and Hangman has to come in.

I feel like after that it needs to be Uno or Silver who gets that big win, that or Stu, Cabana, etc returns and/or they recruit new people

I do think having Hangman involved in this feud would make sense, but I also think Dark Order need new members and a bit of a new start after this, but I'd settle for returns, I'd definitely settle for Stu lol

Either way I don't see Dark Order ever dying, they're an ultimate babyface type of team and I feel like sliding them into the Best Friends role where they start having those feel good feud ender matches wouldn't be the worst thing, AEW's still a "Babyfaces get the big endings" company, and it feels like that's what this is setting up when 10 punked Negative One like that.

I really hope Negative 1 chooses a replacement hoss to take Preston's place, and we eventually see Preston get manhandled by said new hoss. I don't see Negative 1 just letting this slide.

It was a really well done segment and turn, although it's kinda baffling for him to do it to join the only faction in AEW with less credibility than the Dark Order, the last struggling remnants of the HFO via Andrade.

My exact thought for this whole thing was "Oh look, they've set up Adam Page's next feud."

I am officially annoyed at the bookers for involving a group I like in a storyline, because I have zero faith any part of it exists except to fill time for a dude I'm meh about. All I see is Lucy holding a football.

I'm kind of just, "I feel nothing," on the whole thing because the Dark Order's been a complete dead-end of an act for a long while at this point. Feels like it can only do good things for Vance breaking off from it and if anything hope it leads to them dropping the pretense of the rest of the group.

I didnt see 10 turning on the Dark Order. I saw John Silver selfishly flipping himself and getting in the way when 10 was trying to help them

Honestly, if there's one thing I want to see out of this feud, it's that I want the Dark Order to get that evil edge back.

Preston made it personal. Sure, Anna Jay and Alan Angels left, but Anna didn't really do anything to the group and nobody liked Alan anyway. But Preston was Brodie's chosen one. He was Negative 1's "big brother". And he threw all that back in their faces, while ripping Uno's mask.

Give Uno back that mob boss mentality he had in the company's beginning. Bring back the Creepers and have them stalk Preston, or jump AFO members before their matches. Bring Grayson back on a full-time basis and have him, Silver and Reynolds wreck fools.

Remind people why the Dark Order were considered a threat in the first place. And most importantly, make Preston Vance abundantly aware that he is not safe, that he made the worst mistake of his life, and that he's going to pay for that mistake in blood.
