Everything orbiting Roman f***ing rules so hard. OK like legit curious where would you take it long term from here do you just ride this out since the crowd's into it and keep it going indefinitely or like throw a plot in here somewhere with stakes and actual threats to this 2+ heel double world title reign ending or some such I think you have the giant collapse at Mania. 100%. Death by thousand cuts. Or maybe the thing that started it all comes back to end it. I want Jey to be the one to step back and not help Roman in the big climactic moment, letting Cody hit the cross Rhodes and win. This comes after Roman berates the Usos for losing to Zayn and Owens on night one. (Maybe the first tag team Mania main event? Depending on the rest of the card)

All your pissing and moaning means they’re doing the story right. I know what’s gonna happen. You know what’s gonna happen. You just want it right now. I feel sorry for your girlfriend/wives. Dude it's a TV show

Anyway yeah stories work how stories are planned to work and that's a thing, but it's also not any kind of like moral or personal failing to say "I am not enjoying this ride and wish it would end". From being in the live thread without much of a dog in the race beyond feeling that tying up both titles on the same act twice over is kinda dumb, it's clear that the people enjoying this run and the people who really dislike the run are focusing on very different things that either entertain them over any flaws, or overtake any positives and leave them bummed out. That's normal and expected. Someone not enjoying a story shouldn't be shamed for not liking something because 'The point is that you don't like it' really doesn't work for some people, and frankly the love for Sami Uso tonight tells me that the people who do like it aren't liking it because they aren't supposed to, but because they're seeing the stuff they do.
In short, really good match that is contentious because of years of storytelling surrounding it that have been very divisive and it's not worth like a fistfight over.

I just said in the wager thread that Cody beating Roman and Sami and KO beating the Usos is the absolute perfect endgame for me. And yeah, I think Usos v Sami/KO is worthy of main eventing Wrestlemania night 1. It could also be the super hot opener too. With how over this story is I think it honestly might be the biggest tag title match in company history. Unless there’s something obvious I’m forgetting. Like I loved the Hardys/Dudleys/E&C TLC stuff but it was midcard. This Sami Uso stuff has basically been the highlight and main thing on the show for months and the pop if Sami and KO win will be insane. I thought they could never possibly top the Wrestlemania moments they both had this year but lifelong best friends finally winning the tag titles together to cap off this amazing story I Imagine being a dream come true for them.

All your pissing and moaning means they’re doing the story right. I know what’s gonna happen. You know what’s gonna happen. You just want it right now. I feel sorry for your girlfriend/wives. Well, one, the personal attack is really stupid and gross, and two, there is a stark difference between, "Oh, wow, I can't wait until the Bloodline gets their comeuppance!" and, "Oh God I am tired of this boring-ass storyline," and I'm firmly in the latter category. I'm not looking forward to seeing Roman and the Usos lose the belts, I'm looking forward to them having lost them and that's an entirely separate thing. If they vacated all the belts tomorrow and left the company forever without putting anyone over I'd entirely consider it a good thing because at least they'd be gone. I just don't get this. No matter how much you don't like the storyline or the people involved, why as a fan of the product would you rather a storyline end without a climax? It just confuses the hell out of me. I've just never felt this way about any TV show I've watched, ever. I'm reminded of LOST, when all the fans hating Nikki and Paulo caused the writers to rush writing them off the show as fast as possible and the results were super lame. I didn't like them either, but I will always maintain the show would have been better if the writers had just stuck to their guns and done what they wanted with them rather than responding to fan pressure to write them off. I mean whatever, you do you. It helps that the average fan loves the storyline so you're not going to get your way lmao. I just had to say something because I'm really baffled by this post.

Like Roman wins then the Bloodline are viciously beating KO down after the match and Sami refuses to join in, finally snaps out of it and saves his old friend. Also I kinda like the idea of both the second and second last feuds of Roman’s reign being with KO.

Really my take is if it's a bad story that I'm not invested in I don't care if it gets resolution or not. I'd rather just abort and wipe the deck clean than see it through because no payoff is ever going to make it worth the miserable ride getting there. Which isn't going to happen, unless someone gets injured or something which I certainly don't want, but all the same, if Triple H got really high and decided to have Roman get squashed by Shanky in 30 seconds on SmackDown I'd just be like, "Woo, great, glad that's over with, let's see where it goes from here," regardless of how everyone else took it.

I've been lifting weights in the gym for 3 months and I'm finally at the level of these skinny losers like [opponents of Roman Reigns] and because of this I see clearly when The Big Dog™ will finally lose his championship belts and I am making a public apology to my wives/girlfriends for this grievous error

Someone woke up and chose violence, I see. Personally, I'd probably be more annoyed about the result if I wasn't so much of a Bloodline fan but I do feel this is about to hit the end sooner rather than later. Like, Roman's not leaving LA as champ. If he left LA as champ whether against Rock or Cody they have f***ed up badly Yeah if Roman walks out Mania as Champ, I'll eat shit and say they messed up. I get that people are annoyed by it and just want it over with. I'm like that right now with Bianca & Bron's title reigns but ending them with the wrong people be a waste. I know a lot of people wanted Drew to win at Clash, but to me that would be like trading all your assets in the NBA to build a 46 win regular season team. Like Congrats you made the playoffs, now go get bounced in the first round to the Warriors and be stuck with Julius Randle and Zach Lavine on max contracts. If anybody but those two beat Roman it would feel like a waste of 2+ years(just like if anybody but Rhea or Melo beat Bianca or Bron).

It was great. As for the ending, I think it worked for this match. However, It was a finish that worked for this match. But Roman and co have to suffer an actual setback at some point. Constantly going “Roman is saved ag the last second by someone else” has been done A LOT at this point. It's like a few of Roman's storylines... yeah it can make sense... except that we're already like 2 years into it at this point and Roman has literally no setbacks... nor is anyone being built up to be shown on his level.

I hope Cody had it written into his contract that he gets a WWE title run.
After the badassery of that HIAC performance, I simply cannot get on board with the “well forget him” train.

I think the Hell in a Cell thing is part of why I'm kind of, "Eh, he works," on going with Cody myself honestly. I kind of can't help but look at the whole thing less as, "Oh, wow, how impressive," and more, "Wow, what an utter moron," especially with how he did indeed end up aggravating the injury doing it.

I think the longer the bloodline goes without loosing the belts, the more meaningful and satisfying it will be when they finally loose them and my god, what a moment it will be. Iam hoping Wrestlemania is where they should pull the trigger on that. Make it impactful
