I completely forgot about the absolutely strange runs of Deonna Purazzo and Chelsea Green. They debuted separately, as a team, as jobbers, on NXT, on the main roster. Then got fired. I think they had plans for Chelsea Green but she would always get hurt before they could put anything in motion. I know she was supposed to be on a Survivor Series team but got injured in the qualifying four way match she was supposed to win and they had to call an audible with Liv winning and getting the spot instead. Honestly Liv should've won anyways as she was the most deserving of the people in that match (Tamina and Nattie were the other two) and partner Ruby was already on the team as well but still a tough break. Deonna just stopped making any effort to stay in shape which I can see likely being a big reason why they never did anything with her. She was also really lacking in personality despite being very good in the ring. I think she just felt really defeated. Everything Deonna pitched, they'd just kind of tune her out and not have any interest, or have asinine complaints, like "what's a virtuosa?", as if "a virtuoso" isn't a pretty commonly used word to describe someone. I get that she was pretty low priority for them, but they could hardly have made that more obvious to her, from the sounds of things. She's one of those people like Tay Conti who went elsewhere and excelled, but I almost feel like were designed to fall through the cracks in WWE's developmental system. You hire that many people, you're not going to come up with something for everybody.

This thread is threatening to replace the Post-Scrum thread as my favorite one of 2022. I genuinely appreciate that so much because I've been having way too much fun doing this. THIS IS MY PACE

That McIntyre vs. Big Show match was so f***ing awful and surreal, 5 stars I remember everyone on FAN having a heart attack during that match, lol.

You hire that many people, you're not going to come up with something for everybody. It did not help that the NXT Women’s roster was just super stacked. I mean that division had the likes of Shayna Baszler, Bianca Belair, Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, Candice Lerae, Mia Yim, Io Shirai, Rhea Ripley, Mercedes Martinez and then you had emerging talents like Shotzi, Raquel Gonzalez and up-and-comers like Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter.

Crazy thing is, even with all the madness in between then and now with callups, repackagings, firings and management changes at all levels, circumstances ended up as such that WWE going into 2023 is only missing one of those people (Martinez).

Tian Sha is a top 10 benadryl spiders stable. Xia Li kept swinging a halberd at nothing and Boa looks like Keanu Reeves.

HHH should have done a special where they turned the CWC into a Mortal Kombat stage and had Tian Sha like rule over it
(Karrion Kross of course becomes the mortal kombat champion)

Deonna is awesome on Impact but I would still like to see her get a proper WWE Run.
