I, too, would jump through glass to avoid dealing with CM Punk. Also, has anymore been seen about him being pissy about HOB chopping him? I'm trying to imagine him throwing a hissy fit on Black OR King. Lol I'd hope Punk's not dumb enough to try starting some shit with those guys.

Punk tends to be a coward about confrontation in that he rarely goes after people who would clap back physically. Page is an easy target b/c he's a legit nice guy. Nemeth is an easy target b/c he has no leverage. etc.

Black & Brody are also his friends. The whole chop thing is just Punk joking about how he complained about Hangman stiffing him in the ESPN article. People clowned on him for getting bent out of shape over it, so now he's trying to make it into a joke so they can't use it against him.

Listening to Alvarez and Meltzer talk about it on the YouTube short is brutal. They’re trying to walk that line between being objective but you can tell they’re pissed/frustrated with Punk. “I don’t want to analyze this guy anymore”. Dave basically all but says what everyone’s been theorizing:
Phil has gained control. Phil is the catalyst of all the drama. Tony needs to get control of the situation “nobody’s changed, that’s the problem.
They seem to cast doubt on the hangman not being Phil’s fault thing. You can tell a lot of people are talking to Dave.
Here’s the kicker:
This can only get worse. Think about the negative public image this has gotten online. It’s all over the internet. Even his most devout followers are either quiet or frustrated dramas come up again. The general consensus being “will you shut the f*** and focus on the product”. Think about that. If Phil’s even half aware of what everyone’s saying, think how the sentiment “will you just shut up?” Would make C.M Punk react? This can only get worse.

I'm really curious to see if this makes Punk's live crowd reception worse. If two signs that read "CM PUNK IS BORING" and "HANGMAN WAS RIGHT" set him off to this degree he's in for a rough time moving forward.

Yeah it's clear to me that people who claim Dave and especially Bryan have a bias in all this don't listen to Dave and Bryan. The only thing Bryan wants is for all this shit to go away because he's constantly being blamed for shit he doesn't do (ie: bury FTR)

He picked an amazing time to tank his credibility again given there's a show with 80K plus people attending it about to happen, and he's gonna wrestle on it barring a last minute change lmfao.

I don't blame them for being tired I tried to be as objective as possible when Punk came back, and all it amounted to was well exactly what I expected, this dude not being able to get out of his own way I cannot even fathom how frustrating it is to be Dave or Bryan right now, or others like SRS for that matter, imagine putting out a story and then you have to add five edits to it because apparently the first story you were handed, likely by the same people, didn't make Punk look good, it just keeps making him look WORSE lol CM Punk has been absolutely fine in ring and still proves he can draw and move merch which seems to be the entire reason Warner loves him, but the dude is proving that he cannot even do the bare minimum while being given the keys, if it was anyone else in his situation I can't imagine the bag being fumbled this f***ing badly in all aspects of the way it has been...

I don't think he's really going to care about being booed because he relishes being heel. Like when Toronto hated the shit out of him he loved it and even egged it on.
What really does psychic damage to someone like him is no heat whatsoever. That's why that "CM PUNK IS BORING" sign probably set him off more than any boos or "f*** YOU PUNK" chants would.

They will still do it because they've got to make money, but like, getting resentful of having to keep doing the same thing over and over because it's profitable is a very known phenomenon.

I wonder if Punk will think of pivoting if he starts noticing more boring signs, because as your said the worst kind of reaction for a wrestler would be getting the Ron Conway pop

He's seeing that most people who hate him, such as myself, aren't gonna tune in to see him turn heel and get his comeuppance by a babyface. They are just gonna avoid watching anything and everything he's in. Punk has so much go away heat with people, and he's realizing it.

So whenever they talk about Punk, they become part of the story just cause.

He’s getting the heat already, now watch in a couple of weeks, Collision views are about to fall out once football starts and that will drive away more people. Not sure if his ego is gonna be able to take it. Can you imagine if something crazy happens like Rampage starts getting more views? Dude will go nuclear on somebody.
