Has someone mad a manager's license joke for Jungle Boy and Punk? So the can be like Ricky Starks. I feel like that should have happened already. CM Punk couldn't manage a Target......... There's no shot he could work retail

Rosario is the AEW travel coordinator.
To be fair this person did leave poor Punk stranded in London town

Could it be with Edge on the market and Mone possibly coming in for a run that Punk (and his pre-existing fanbase) is suddenly less indispensable to WBN.

AEW Investigation Team Guy(answers phone): “what did the dickhead do now?” I like to think there's a dedicated Punk division in AEW HR, where the shortest straw gets assigned to work it for the week.

I love Santana but the people who need to grow up aren’t the fans talking about the latest Punk debacle. It’s Punk. He got suspended again. On the company’s biggest day.

AEW is a joke organization. The idea that there needs to be an “investigation” is absurd. All they’re doing is talking to the few eyewitnesses which were there. Just do that and make decision. Whoever you determine at fault should be suspended. It should be over by Dynamite. most businesses tend to make sure they get all the information on a situation they can before they take action when it comes to disciplinary action as they want to minimise any possibility of lawsuits for wrongful dismissal. this will take a bit longer than normal considering they were on another continent from half the office staff that will be needed for it. Sounds like the same talking points made from last year. They did such a thorough investigation it lead to the exact same thing happening the next year. It’s a way for TK to let this fizzle without him taking any real action.

As someone who goes to Target often and experiences confusion and pain everytime I go, are we sure he isn't already managing my local one?

I have a strong suspicion that Punk or Ace is a part of that team with a fake mustache (ace a muzzle)

The funny thing is I feel like the show did in fact overshadow this incident. The show was a spectacle and I think a lot of fans just don't care as much this time around (plus Punk fighting the Elite is going to raise a lot more animosity than Jack).

I agree with this, BUT maybe he should be looking at his coworkers who keep getting into drama that detracts from the wrestling.

For the record I took Santana's tweet to be about his coworkers

I'm firmly on team "TK needs to grow a spine" but having 4 of your biggest stars be suspended for 6 weeks including one of the biggest shows of the year isn't "not taking action"

I guess it depends the circles that you discuss wrestling in, but this Punk story is definitely dominating the conversation that I’ve seen today.

All of them were put on suspension while things were investigated. On the management side, Daniels and Buck at least were brought back after only a week once they were cleared thanks to the accounts of those who saw it happen. This s absolutely a due diligence thing. Make it official. Write everything down. Have specific, consistent people managing the interviews and decisions. That CM Punk later put his hands on another wrestler doesn't mean nothing was investigated and it's a total non-sequitur to say that it was.

This is the last random "in defense" tweet I will share here as just the two are enough to make me question my own reality when it comes to my fandom of Punk (dating back to IWA:MS/ROH and MLW vs. Raven and growing up in IL) As usual with tweets like this, I’m more concerned about how there’s over 100 likes for such an ass-backwards take. Didn’t Hogan used to do something similar, where he’d take either football or college basketball season off to film a movie so he wouldn’t be around for the ratings dove, and then take credit for the increase when he came back?
