Perry sucks. I wouldn’t be surprised if he thought this was a way to try and boost his stock to get people talking about him. He’s gone from like mixing it up in pretty big stories to losing to Hook on the pre-show. No knock on Hook but Perry was involved in a world title match just a few months ago.

I’ll give Perry the benefit of the doubt here. He def instigated the situation, but he’s a 25 year old kid, he’s got time to mature

Again, the only reason we even know about the glass story is Punk leaked it to the dirt sheets to try and make himself look a good guy because he'd buried Hangman again in a promo to the crowd and realised it had gone down badly.

That's the only reason we're aware it happened. People accusing Perry of bragging about using glass or trying to use it to boost his career need to remember that. CM punk 100% definitively started this by leaking it to the media.

Should Perry have just ignored punk? Yeah he should have. But I can understand it if he was angry at Punk, not everybody can do what Hangman does and completely rise above punks pathetic pettiness.

Christian in a Turtleneck right now is just glorious, but JE should have stayed together longer as it was one of the few kid friendly acts in AEW and Jack could have done with more time spent under the learning tree of Cage and Luchasaurus.
