Same here. I wonder if it got to the point where the guys in the trios match were told about it and asked to be ready, just in case. Fightful says it was definitely discussed. Yeah, I saw that. But that could mean just discussed between road agents. I can just imagine Christopher Daniels (if he was there) opening the Elite's locker room door with the biggest shit-eating grin on his face and explaining the situation. |

I'm still tickled that Punk immediately leaked the story that it was all Jack's fault, and then Miro said nah, and the truth had to come out. And it was all Punk's fault for instigating it because he had to leak the glass story to make himself look good after he shit all over Hangman again. How can anyone not look at this dude and see a clown?Ultimately I think both dudes are in the wrong, but I also like that Jack stood up to CM Punk's bullying bullshit. Because it takes more actual skill to be a (paid) clown than it does to be an angry jackass with a fragile ego. |

If Punk gets blamed for starting it, Perry deserves equal blame for stirring the shit on the company’s largest show ever. I don’t think he should get a pass, tbh. He may mature and learn, but he still f***ed up too. They're both to blame. Punk should've ignored Perry, Perry should've ignored Punk. Perry shouldn't have made that comment, Punk shouldn't have leaked the glass story. It's the kind of situation where the solution should be to yell at them both, then sit them down to talk it out and overall just be more of a hardass on people doing this kind of stuff. It's in the ways it got physical and who the blame for that is being put on where I think this loses that evenness. If they have a shouting match backstage, people step in to break it up, and then the public stuff gets addressed, this isn't as big a story as it is right now. There's stuff they both share blame and deserve disciplinary action for, there's just also then. The other stuff. As far as maturing and learning, I do hope that Perry comes out of this better and someone talks to him. That he eases up on the attitude a bit and just overall does better, because being an antagonistic dick live on TV is dumb no matter who does it and he's not feuding with Punk so these comments are an unproductive mess. Punk's beyond the point where he's gonna mature so I don't have much hope for him. Appreciate the thoughtful response and you bring up a bunch of good points. Hopefully the whole locker room is learning a bunch about how to conduct themselves. |

Nobody looks good in this at all, but only one of them has a looooooong history of drama in AEW. And I am so amused that if Punk hadn't been able to get it together in time to open the show, it would have been Kenny Omega and Hangman f***ing Page riding to the rescue to save the day and cover for it. I wish I could have seen the elites reaction to this shit going down.  |

Like Punk getting mad on it is absolutely on Punk because Punk has been doing it for months and nobody he's targeted has done shit. But the same way Punk is out there shitting on guys he's not working a program with, Perry in his Wednesday purgatory after being banished for glass crimes is not going to work with CM Punk. It's a shot purely out of pettiness and it's how you get problems. When Max does his diss entrance, it's against people he's feuding with or people removed from wrestling, he's not building phantom heat for the concept of a story that's never happening. It's not the nature of the nudge nudge humour, but the intent behind it of "I'm gonna show up this guy who said shit to Sean Ross Sapp about me" |

There’s something hilarious about CM Punk, who complained in his unhinged press conference about people leaking stuff, leaking a story about Jack Perry which eventually resulted in Punk choking a guy minutes before going to the ring.
