Right, could be that Punk got suspended but Punk wasnt informed of that and then he fed the info to SRS.
It would be fully in line with Punk's recent MO to leak something to the media to try and "get out ahead" of a situation. Also Sapp said yesterday there wasnt much communication between TK and Punk after All In, so the news of apparently TK ghosting Punk would make sense now. |

AEW is not ghosting CM Punk. Tony is not going from ready to give the guy the keys to his house any time he wants to go raid his fridge to ignoring his calls until his contract runs out. Punk is no longer his favorite, the moment TK said he would rather have Danielson booking the show gave it away.
He's not the favorite, but he's still not going to be thrown out like that. Tony loves the dude even if he's a headache, and if Punk is on his way out, Tony is going to want to do it in a way that tries to keep in Punk's good graces and stay 'his buddy'. It won't work because he isn't and because Punk is a grudge machine. But the guys who get left out in the ocld are dudes who weren't being used a lot, stop being used, and then just never hear back. It's not anyone even approaching higher level stars. |

No one is suspended here imo.
Someone at SI either got fed BS or misunderstood something.
This will be brushed under the carpet, or Jack will take the fall because Tony still needs the Punk name and Perry isn't important in the grand scheme of things right this minute.

The man assaulted multiple top stars, shit-talked multiple other top stars, pretty much tried to sabotage the formal announcement of their new show that was entirely centered around him, and Tony still threw him a grand parade painting him as a Christ-like figure while jumping up and down about how amazing it was while having the commentators go all, "Haha, they're just having fun, Maggle, bizarro world!" over him being booed out of the building. TK's going to do everything he possibly can to keep Punk around and happy, when Punk does leave it's going to be his own decision.

Yeah, someone is just feeding bad info to the sheets, either intnetionally or because they've got bad info. There's no way people aren't being told they're suspended here, if only because travel arrangements and booking plans for TV and the PPV this weekend are going to sort of rely on if people know they're supposed to come to work that day. The last time this happened, four different agents/talent relations people got the suspension hammer just to be safe so they could cover all their bases. |

Just goes to show that while AEW can put on a great show, there's some cons that come to a superfan being the head of a brand. Helga Pataki would punish Arnold more than TK does Punk. |
