Yeah, see, every single involved journalist specifically said that the Elite didn't leak them anything after shit hit the fan. Punk getting into his little baby feelings over a relatively innocuous pro wrestling promo (which was likely exacerbated by the fact that he was pissed that night about getting injured again) and going absolutely nuclear on everyone in a very public forum started all of this. If you believe the Elite’s side didn’t leak that then I have a bridge to sell you. You think Punk leaked that? "The Elite went and leaked stuff to the media." Actually, it wasn't The Elite. Every prominent wrestling journalist has said as much. "Oh come on. You actually believe that?" For someone who claims that they aren't misinformed, your words are absolutely contradicting that. |

I'm starting to think that whole "WBD loves Punk and are going to give AEW a billion dollar deal because of him" thing was more BS put out by Punk's camp and WBD doesn't really care that much. Then again, this is WBD so it wouldn't be the first time and won't be the last they did something stupid. Come to think of it, given Punk's clear pattern of trying to proactively weaponize the media to spin things in his favor, the most likely explanation for the Colt stuff is that he leaked it when he caught wind of people being irritated that he might have cost Colt his job. I honestly always assumed Punk's leaking there were people that assumed he moved Colt to be complete Conspiracy, but seeing the end game and everything else afterward, he might be crazy enough to do it. |

Okay, also, like, wasn't Perry complaining a few months ago about disliking the Bucks and them holding him down or something? I definitely recall that being a thing so I really doubt he's "in their camp" or whatever. Punk's just a prick who attracts a lot of enemies. No, the Gunns were complaining that Perry got a push because he changed with the Bucks. The Gunns. Were complaining that the son of Luke Perry who can wrestle good. Was unfairly getting ahead. Because of the Bucks. |

Also, how must Joe feel, guy wanted his match at Wembley, and it was almost pissed away because Punk has paper thin skin. I also feel for MJF since, yet again, one of his accomplishments is being overshadowed by the man he once viewed as his hero |

There is no “think” here. Everyone is in agreement that Hangman went into business for himself. And I agree with the rest of your post! Why do I have to keep saying that everything after Coward Shit is Punk’s fault? Hangman's promo was harmless and didn't feel out of place in the feud. Punk is a grown ass adult and could have just, I don't know, sat down over dinner with the guys and talked their problems out. Instead dude premeditated a rant at the live after PPV scrum and then threw the first punch after he said DURING the rant to come talk to him. One thing said during a harmless promo, and let's face it Punk has brought up way more shoot like stuff in his own promos, isn't justification for all of *waves arm around* THIS. |

Yeah. Yes. With the exception of Hangman making one inside-baseball comment that no one watching understood at the time, to the dude whose entire gimmick is bringing up people's real life baggage, there is zero actual evidence that any of them actually did anything wrong at any point in this whole stupid saga and any claims they did are willful ignorance. And I'll throw in here: I fully buy that the Young Bucks are insufferable human beings and that they're cliquish guys who play politics. There's not a lot of evidence of them doing anything more than going to bat for their friends who happen to be good to great wrestlers, and that's not a sin, but I can surmise situations where it makes them an aggravating presence in the locker room. Most of that is built from conjectures on how they run BTE, so it's not the most solid evidence, but it's not nothing - when a show that could be a major promotional tool for AEW is centered on who they happen to hang out with, well, that's within their rights to do, but it almost makes me glad that Khan seems hesitant to push people who get popular from BTE. But every single person who's publicly gotten mad at them for it has looked worse, from the Gunns complaining about Perry getting his spot due to Bucks nepotism (when like, Luke Perry's son who wrestles good was going to get pushed regardless of his friendships, come on) (and like, you are the Gunns, you are a nepotism hire no matter how much you make good on it), to Punk and Steel escalating the conflict into physical fights, including at least one time where he did so after telling people they can come find him and hash things out to his face. The Bucks come across to me as guys I'd roll my eyes at and never want to speak to. Punk comes across as someone who would make my workplace miserable no matter how far I stayed away from him. Best level headed take yet and how I feel as well about the Bucks...I also seem to like a lot of the guys around them but it is always specifically them that just irks me and you are right...it's a combination of a million things...BTE....Spotfests...using other peoples stuff then playing tongue in cheek...There are reasons why the book was called "killing the business" as the perception about them isn't necessarily new it's just morphed now that they are somewhat in charge. |

A lot of times promotions will have a party/celebration after huge shows so maybe they brought some people in as backups and to be a part of the festivities. Just a guess, I have no idea. |
