You know when you were at school and there was a group of cool kids that did lots of stuff together and made sure everyone knew how good buds they were, the amazing times they had together, and all of the in-jokes they had? There were always lots of friend groups that also had great times, but only one group that was obnoxious about making sure everyone else knew? That's the energy Punk, Danhausen, and Brody give off. What's funny is that... like we know just from past experience... that Punk will completely ghost them after any kind of perceived slight. |

Anyway. I was so upset I couldn’t catch up during work. Thread was closed at one point. I audibly said “Nooooo” out loud. Finally caught up.
Is it..is it sad I’ve kind of gone 180 and want phil to remain in AEW now? This is just ..what will I do with myself without habitual Phil line crossings. i just don’t know.

If I am ANY member of The Elite, I am giddy and pissing myself with laughter at this entire clusterf*** from top to bottom. They just signed new deals which means they undoubtedly are now set for life (if they weren't already), THEY work on the show that actually draws ratings, and if, somehow, AEW goes under and this is just the beginning of the end (I doubt it, but thinking worst case scenario), the WWE will throw them another fat stack of cash for a year or two. All because they wisely kept their mouths shut and stay out of Punk's meltdown radius. If you think this stuff is the beginning of the end for the company you are way off. People really need to calm down a little with this sort of nonsense. Punk is an idiot sure but TK is rich, the company just took a huge gate at Wembley (even with all the historical Punk/Elite drama) and the roster is more than capable of covering if Punk goes. |

I think Danhausen more or less owes his career in AEW to punk so there's some loyalty there.
And Punk is 100% that dude that'll do you a favor, say "Think nothing of it", and then subtly remind you of that time he did you a favor for the rest of your life.
