Punk Scrum Thread II: Punk terminated from AEW

As revenge of the siths ending idly plays on my background tv on TNT, I can’t help but to think we’ve actually witnessed a true to form fall from grace. Punk prevailed, and prevailed and prevailed. Internet and IWC hero and crossing over to mainstream appeal. But his persona, that’s always been tied to his character, is dead. This is a new Punk that hasn’t aged along with the rest of his wrestling landscape.

And Phil knows this, he’s very in tune with internet culture and what fans are thinking and saying. Not only that but he feels so many in AEW don’t want him there. True or not, that’s how he seems to perceive things. So it makes sense he’s having a miserable time and acting out. I really don’t know where it goes from here. Here’s a meme

I gotta be honest the funniest actual thing he can possibly do is just go back into his grumble box and only publicly surface at like Blackhawks games. If he comes back to wrestling, and across two years spends a whole combined year injured or suspended, causes multiple fights, upends all peace in the wrestling world, then peaces off entirely? f***ing legend.
