Day late and several hours short, but something interesting in Khan’s phrasing about “the safety of other talent”. Granted, we only know second hand about Jack Perry and Tony Khan getting physically threatened by Brooks at Wembley, but this gives an impression that they were not the only ones in his line of fire. Phil Brooks is done in wrestling, folks. If footage exists, and it likely does given Wembley, and he really did get that violent, he’s more radioactive then Chernobyl now. Just a simple statement of fact. Nothing more. Hell, even if the footage doesn't get out there's no doubt that WWE would call them up and ask what happened. Like any employer when contacting somebody's previous jobs. Not just that, but with everybody in WWE who's close with people in AEW, that info would get relayed to Hunter and others. And given there's a decent chance there were a number of witnesses, all it takes is one to be in contact with someone in WWE (or even just telling someone else that knows someone in WWE) for the details to get back to them.

I hope Triple H gets a tiny twinge of validation every time he ends up being proven right about a guy he didn't like working with or want to put over that everyone got mad at him about. You say "every time" but it's literally just this one time, 12 years after he beat him on PPV

CM Punk thinks he's a modern day Terry Funk, but he's a modern day Terry Bollea. Hogan would bury you politically, but would avoid confrontation at all costs. He didn't try to fight people. Modern Day, Phil never knew how to work the system.

So HR/legal was building a case with as much documentation as possible so whenever Punk sues they can get it over with as soon as possible. Like any other functioning workplace would. This is only newsworthy if you've never worked in anything resembling a professional environment.

You know, with Mox taking the ME spot and Danielson taking the Starks match spot this All Out, and all the stuff Mox has done to cover Glass Phil's issues since he came to AEW, the BCC should rename themselves the Brooks Cleanup Crew.

You say "every time" but it's literally just this one time, 12 years after he beat him on PPV RVD as well. He got handed the keys to the WWE car, and got arrested. Hogan would bury you politically, but would avoid confrontation at all costs. He didn't try to fight people. Modern Day, Phil never knew how to work the system. Hogan for all his faults was smart enough to know that if he gets in a fight with somebody and one or both of them get injured, that means less money. He wouldn't f*** around if he could make money. Like if Hogan and Million Dollar Man got in a fight, and Dibiase got injured then Mega Powers vs Mega Bucks doesn't happen and less money is made.

And if he hasn't been told that, he damn well should have a job for life in AEW.

Will also add one more note: let’s not make much hay out of wrestlers’ twitter or Insta likes. I know there are times when that could have meaning, but often it’s nothing that much to get worked up about. Same if some wrestlers are still friends with Punk: their relationships are their own business, we don’t need to judge stuff like that we’re not privy to.
The whole situation is screwed up enough as it is just based on publicly available information, we don’t really need to make that much over personal stuff we’re mostly speculating on.

Kevin Nash is calling Punk a bully after this. The same guy that smacked Samoa Joe for cutting a promo on his drug addict friend that no showed the Ppv.

Why I said he was done in wrestling. We “know” there has to be footage because Wembley. The only “if” is if it was anyone targeted by Brooks other than Perry or Khan. That doubles up on the “with cause” and no wrestling company on Earth will touch him if there is video proof of it. Ultimately, and I in no mean wish to paraphrase, but Phil Brooks is ultimately responsible for Phil Brooks, actions and consequences included. The only people I personally feel sorry for now are the ones in his firing lines.

Pretty effectively torpedoes Punk’s bargaining power with WWE when they know he doesn’t have AEW on the other side for a bidding war.

Jeff Hardy is another one. and there's more but I really don't feel like digging at the moment.

I've never been a ratings person. There are people who enjoy discussing that side of the business and that's cool, it's just never been my thing personally. But I'd love nothing more than for the Collision ratings to start rising, even if it's just a small increase.
