Not unless TK forces the title on him. He seems to be fine just being another guy which is not what you brought him in for but at this point it seems to be what he wants over anything
He signed a 5 year deal right? So, I think there is still time but I don't expect any type of run until maybe 2024 since MJF will hold the title majority of 2023

Unfortunately not. He's my favorite wrestler in AEW but doesn't seem interested in winning the title.

Nope, he'd rather spend the rest of his career being irrelevant. Because I guess he learned nothing from how toward the end of Jericho's time in WWE beating him meant absolutely nothing anymore because everyone did it. That’s certainly a take lmao

Maybe, maybe not.
But if I’m TK and he’s not interested in being champion, then I ain’t making the guy champion. Because he won’t be into it and then the reign will probably suck.

Bryan really lowered his stock over the past year or so.
He just main evented WRESTLEMANIA months before signing... And his entire presence in AEW now just feels like "Oh yeah, Bryan is here too"
Sometimes you need to be greedy in this business. I'd go as far to say he should already be a former AEW Champion by now.

Yes but it'll probably be something like the glorified midcard title that is the ROH championship or some shit.

I still think he should have got one of those Moxley reigns after CM Punk vacated twice. For such a young title there's no need for someone to already be a 3 time champion (4 if the interim one counts).
A decent 2-3 month reign would've been fine. And Danielson has even more of a connection to Regal than Moxley does so you could do the exact same story with MJF's first title win at Full Gear and it's not some jarring change.

The only way Bryan wins a World Title if HHH, Tony, Brie Bella and Regal come up with a convoluted scheme AND make a gimmick match that books that Bryan wins no matter what.

He'll win it just before he finishes up with AEW and heads back to WWE, and drop it to a young AEW original winning their first world title in his last AEW match

If Danielson wrestled Eddie Kingston on PPV, it would be the most unpredictable match to predict. I’d probably bet on both guys losing somehow.
In other words, no he’s not winning the world title. Not AEW or ROH.

Probably not but as a fan of his I want to see it. In fact he doesn't necessarily have to win the world title but just be booked as more of a big star. I feel the same way about "Cody didn't want to turn heel" as I do about Danielson's current situation. If Cody turning heel or Bryan being booked as a killer at the top of the card is best for the company you pull rank and tell them that's what's going to happen. If they don't have creative control in their contract they do what the booker tells them to do. Danielson being unselfish is spinning all the way back round to being selfish because him not wanting to be a big deal is making the show less interesting. I felt the same in early 2020 when he was working with Drew Gulak in the Smackdown midcard. Like the matches will be fine but this is a guy who was main eventing Wrestlemania. One of the best ever. He should never be anything less than like 02-10 Shawn Michaels. Might not be main eventing every PPV and winning a bunch of world titles but was always booked to seem important with interesting stories. Yeah I agree. If Danielson is more compelling than those above him he's essentially undermining them because anyone watching is wondering why he's not in their position. Just a short run would help, it would help reduce that feeling similar to HBK's comeback title win did and in turn it would make his subsequent losses mean more. Not that losing is everything, don't want a Kozlov beating Taker situation where nobody buys it so it benefits nobody. It also benefits the title especially in years to come when his name is the lineage. Same way as WWE title means more because of all the names that have held it (even after Jinder).

His time as interim champ got rolled into his second regular reign since he won the unification match.

I think he’ll eventually win it, only to either lose it immediately or like a week later Basically the only context in which I want him to be champion

Is there a "LOL No" option, given how motivated he seems to just not win anything?

Daniel Bryan in AEW to me is the equivalent of (popular NXT star going to the main roster only to be booked horribly) narrative. He just always felt like a star and a top player in WWE, I had high hopes when he came to AEW but he just largely felt like an afterthought, didn’t help that he was put in a deadweight faction that led to nonthing, I respect the fact that he probably doesn’t want to win any titles or win matches in general, but that doesn’t really make him interesting to watch much

Hard to say, but knowing Danielson at this point in his career, I think he's more content with putting on quality matches and helping younger talent establish themselves.

I think 2023 will have the title be rotated between MJF, Eddie Kingston and Hangman, but maybe a quick run in 24 before he retires from full time action? I know he doesn’t want the belt but I feel like his name should be on the record books I’ll be legit shocked if Eddie wins the title. I was thinking the exact same thing.
