Will Bryan Danielson win the world title?

I think 2023 will have the title be rotated between MJF, Eddie Kingston and Hangman, but maybe a quick run in 24 before he retires from full time action? I know he doesn’t want the belt but I feel like his name should be on the record books

I don't think so. There's lots of wrestlers I'd like to see win the world title and most of them will benefit from it more than Danielson would.

Should have beaten Moxley in my opinion, looks like he will be MJF's first feud and he isn't winning that (nor should he), I'm going to say no.

I don't think he wants it or needs it. The ROH title on the other hand I see having sentimental value to him so I can see him winning that.

ROH world i see him getting a run with...possibly even one FINAL COUNTDOWN (even though it's rights are stupid expensive)...AEW title he doesn't need and would really do nothing for the belt at this point based on who he was been since arriving. Lets re-enter the dragon in ROH

Probably not but as a fan of his I want to see it. In fact he doesn't necessarily have to win the world title but just be booked as more of a big star.

I feel the same way about "Cody didn't want to turn heel" as I do about Danielson's current situation. If Cody turning heel or Bryan being booked as a killer at the top of the card is best for the company you pull rank and tell them that's what's going to happen. If they don't have creative control in their contract they do what the booker tells them to do.

Danielson being unselfish is spinning all the way back round to being selfish because him not wanting to be a big deal is making the show less interesting. I felt the same in early 2020 when he was working with Drew Gulak in the Smackdown midcard. Like the matches will be fine but this is a guy who was main eventing Wrestlemania. One of the best ever. He should never be anything less than like 02-10 Shawn Michaels. Might not be main eventing every PPV and winning a bunch of world titles but was always booked to seem important with interesting stories.

I honestly think he'd have way more fun with the TNT and AAC titles, and expect them to be belts he wins before the world title.

Nope, he'd rather spend the rest of his career being irrelevant. Because I guess he learned nothing from how toward the end of Jericho's time in WWE beating him meant absolutely nothing anymore because everyone did it.

Funny you should mention Jericho because for years it seems like people thought he had the same mindset as Danielson. "I love putting people over and don't need to win titles." Then a few years back someone said that to him in an interview and he cut them off like "what, no. I f***ing hated losing to Fandango or whatever random person all the time. If I could have been world champion all the time and main every PPV I would but it wasn't my call."

It's weird because from around 2009 to 2015 Jericho probably lost too much but in the past few years I think he now wins too much and is too much of a focus. I'd love Jericho and Danielson to switch places actually (in terms of amount of TV time and care given to their stories).

Danielson is at the point of his career when he doesn't need a world title to validate him as one of the best wrestlers of his generation. He's one of my favorites of all time so I'd personally like to see it, but he really doesn't need it.
