Yeah. When the main event is Becky/Nikki/Alexa, it's hard to give a damn about that third hour. Nothing against Becky at all here, but Nikki and Alexa have cooled off massively, and are the least interesting parts of the RAW Women's Division.

Not great numbers, but that's Football season during a period where everyone is abandoning Network TV.
They were still top of the night against anything aside from NFL.

Raw really struggles to fill all three hours consistently. Especially with no world title and the main guy in the whole company never there.
You can just feel the time stretching in places.

Holiday doldrums, maybe Brady is still a draw, nothing going on until after the New Year and the rumble starts filling out, McDonalds is open 24/7, WWE viewers skew older and they got to get up early, etc.

That's somehow up week over week (0.40 v 0.41) and way up year over year (0.35 v 0.41) but less than 1.3 million viewers for the final hour looks terrible.
It's beating a dead horse but 3 hours is way too much. For 20 years the final hour of Raw was usually the highest rated now we've had a decade of the final hour being the lowest. And it's obviously not changing anytime soon. I don't see USA ever agreeing to cut back to 2 hours. Even if the overall average would go up with a 2 hour show I still think they'd prefer to have 3 top ranked hours rather than 2.

The third hour was the lowest viewed hour in terms of total viewership in RAW history. And MNF was actually down this week. Wrestling numbers haven't been that great over the past week and RAW really struggled last December. Obviously it's still good to be the top show for the night outside of football but the fact that they did a commercial free hour last week shows they do want try to bring up these numbers. Next week has some cool stuff on tap so we'll see if they're rewarded for it.

Obviously painful third hour, but I always said the issue with Raw was that it was losing viewers year-on-year. The fact it had climbed, even if the number itself is low, has to be seen as a positive. A step in the right direction, however small, can only be a good thing.

Viewership low but demo way up year over year and slightly up from last week.

I don't know what past numbers say, but I know that since I started watching again in 2011 that during Autumn is usually when I'm least invested in the product.

As bad as the third hour drop is (even with the typical MNF competition), the demo is pretty much standard range IIRC. So not a whole lot to freak out about since demo is really the number that matters.

So not a whole lot to freak out about since demo is really the number that matters. I largely agree but they didn't break out a commercial free hour last week for no reason. It's not as bad as last December so far but I'm sure they'd like to maintain more of the key demo then they've had.

This wouldn't have happened if that guy with the pumpkin mask was back in the audience.

Not a bad first two hours. 3rd hour ouch but that's the norm and kids got school the next day. Brady's big comeback win didn't start till Raw was over I think so can't really blame that the game was a dud until late. I thought the show was good throughout anyways. The Podcasts say otherwise tho. Seems the episodes of RAW they hate I like and the ones I don't like they do.

While demo was still higher last week (3.18 vs 3.1), this combined total viewership of MNF+Manningcast was actually higher this week (~10.9 vs ~11.3).

I feel like the show has already settled right back into being boring as all hell.

I feel like the show has already settled right back into being boring as all hell. That definitely doesn’t seem to be the majority opinion.

I don't know what past numbers say, but I know that since I started watching again in 2011 that during Autumn is usually when I'm least invested in the product. Without a PPV in December they should really begin actively booking towards the Rumble instead of waiting until January when everyone loses their minds, points at the Wrestlemania banner, and runs in to randomly throw others over the top rope while the announcers wonder “if this is going to happen at the Royal Rumble!?”
