New Years one
That Bob Backlund one from the Merry XMas video sounds so boooring compared to Freddie Blassie’s one (which was funny).
From the New Year one, when Rocky Johnson says “There won’t be no Rocky Johnson without you fans.”, I immediately thought of there won’t be Dwayne Johnson without his fans…and his mother of course, if you know what I mean.
All of the heel superstars wishing fans a Merry XMas and Happy New Years sounds strange. Even Vince Scrooge McMahon wishing fans a Merry XMas and Happy New Years sounds strange. (I only put Scrooge in there because of what we know now about Vince and what a lousy human he is.)
Both of these videos were taped from WWOR Channel 9 in New York and the Merry XMas one in the beginning has the end of an old Carvel commercial.
