Maybe I just noticed it because I reread one of Jericho’s books lately. I am surprised when talking about the Ricky Starks spear, no one talked about him literally spearing MJF out of his shoes. I remember Jericho wanting Goldberg to do that to him. I thought it was a great touch that seemed to get no sold everywhere

I mean, Jack Evans already perfected getting lariated out of his shoes in ROH, and for all I know, the trick's existed since before then. So it's not even a guarantee he got the idea from Jericho.

I could see it being something Jericho had any input, directly or indirectly in, since some like Britt Baker admit to copying things from him, but it could also just be coincidental.
