Becky vs. Ronda and Rhea vs. Bianca?
I don't think any other matchups make sense based on the booking, plus we don't want triple threat matches.
That leaves Charlotte maybe tagging with someone and getting a tag title match.

Yes but it is gonna be Charlotte Vs Bianca and of course Becky Vs Ronda this has been set since a year ago.
Rhea still has the Beth feud waiting for her and that is no doubt to me gonna be her WM match...more than likely mixed tag and probably getting a title match and losing at either Rumble or Elimination Chamber.

Yes save Rhea for after Mania. Tired of champions walking out of Mania and having no legit contenders. Like after Benoit beat Michaels and H again he went to feuding with Kane. Or Daniel Bryan feuding with... Kane. Even if she comes out on the losing end you have almost a year to get her built back up for the next Mania.

I’d say it’s not really set. Rumors of Becky-Ronda and Bianca-Charlotte started under Vince’s watch. There’s been no hints that that’s where we’re headed.

Charlotte being gone since Backlash, and losing as decisively as possible there, only to just walk back in and get ANOTHER Mania title match while other women who have busted their asses to get over are shoved aside.
That would show that the women’s booking really has not changed at all.
Also it’d be the same four women as last year, just flipped around.

Agreed. While I think the rumoured ones would have very likely been the case if Vince was still in charge, things feel more open now. I also don't think it's going to be limited to the 'two singles title matches, one multi-tag match with no build' structure that 37/38 had. I would guess Rhea gets Beth if she's not otherwise in a title match, but they've been doing so much teasing of feuds/matches with her (especially Becky and Bianca) that it's tough to call.

Pretty sure the current rumors are Charlotte/Bianca for the RAW title and Ronda/Becky for the SD title. How they get there, no idea.
But yes if that's true (and its looking that way, as Dave mentioned in the latest newsletter that creative is already getting plans into place for Charlotte's return, and she has been very vocal in interviews about how she only wants Bianca and only for the RAW Women's Title when she returns), it pretty much kills off any hype for the title scene until after MITB at the earliest, if not Wrestlemania 2024, because we all know whoever walks out of Summerslam 2023 as champion is likely holding it until Mania in 2024.
This is why I'm pretty much for the idea of retiring the tag titles and introducing a midcard belt for each brand, just so other women can get some time to shine and WWE can write more than one or two feuds for them.

How many steps away from the televised narrative are we taking to get our "locked in" confirmation, though? Let's take Belair v Flair for example:
*Charlotte Flair is currently not on TV, and has not been on TV since May. Thus she has not been around to build any match *As such, Bianca Belair has been feuding with other people with no hint of a program with Flair to this point *The only "confirmation" of the match is that Flair herself has gone on record saying that she wants the match with Belair *Thus, this requires the fan to jump to the conclusion that Flair is actively pitching for the match to happen, because the assumption is that Flair is a talentless hack that has politicked for everything she's ever gotten at the expense of "better talents" because Vince liked her look and Triple H is a mark for her dad
There, that's your "confirmation" for Belair v Flair.

I think that Rhea will likely be tied up in the Mistério family explosion somehow, no clue which lady could team with Rey though or maybe a six person with Rhea, Dom, and Priest vs. Rey, Beth, and Edge.
I think that Becky vs. Ronda is almost certainly a lock and I would think that whenever Charlotte returns she will get a big entrance and push. So if they go with Rhea in a mixed tag, I think that Charlotte will take on Bianca. At the moment I think these are the most likely scenarios.

Becky vs Ronda for sure. Not sure if Bianca gets Charotte or Rhea. Could always make that a triple threat.

Bianca had also been hyping up Charlotte and the idea of her personally beating all four Horsewomen in interviews for several months. The twist though is that she's started talking up Rhea as an opponent as well over the last few weeks.

Again, though, the key thing is that those things aren’t happening ON TV. At least other than one thing with Belair and Ripley before Survivor Series, anyway. I mean, I’m not saying they may not already know what they want to do, but nothing is confirmed because nobody in the company is gonna be stupid enough to confirm anything until the match starts being built on TV. And especially when the confirmation requires several leaps to conclusions.

Of course. I'm just saying that Bianca can be pretty unsubtle in her interviews, so for her to change her standard answer this late in the year is suggestive about things not being fully locked in yet.

Doesn’t mean it still won’t be those matches but there’s been nothing even hinting about them on TV.

She has been in a title match (for a singles title) at every single Mania she's been a part of. The only time she hasn't been in a title match is when she missed Mania two years ago, due to WWE incompetence. And outside of her match with Trish one year, has pretty much been in a title match at every single Summerslam she's been a part of as well. If you think that's going to change under Triple H's regime, I have bad news for you, as he thinks of her as an even bigger deal than Vince did. And with Dave outright saying in the letter that WWE creative is getting plans in place for her return, it's safe to say she'll be on the Mania card again this year, in a singles title match, just due to how she's booked. I don't know why people think Bianca/Rhea is a lock for Wrestlemania, when that's almost certainly going to be Bianca's Rumble match, because I don't see them dragging out an Alexa (or Bayley) vs Bianca feud for almost two months. Bianca will likely roll over Alexa (or Bayley) on either the Christmas RAW or New Years RAW.

Honestly putting Charlotte aside, Ripley/Lynch and Bianca/Rousey seem like far more interesting WM matches than the alternative.

I could not think of a less exciting Mania women's title match than anything involving Charlotte Flair

Ronda v Becky I’m sure will happen but man Ronda is so cold as Champion right now. But it’s Ronda so I’m sure she still gets the match.
Bianca v Charlotte or Rhea is probably the plan. Charlotte I think probably has the better chance but think it should probably be Rhea.
