Here’s a fun question, I think anyway. If at some point in history, pro wrestling had just stopped. The sport was banned or something like that. What show in the history of wrestling would have been a satisfying “series finale” of sorts? The one show where it seemed things were resolved, the right man won and everyone would be happy with it being the last pro wrestling event.

Monday Nitro prior to Road Wild '97.
WCW overthrows the NWO when WCW's top guy beats the NWO's top guy by submission and takes back the World title. Backstage, the NWO writhes in defeat as Luger and WCW guys celebrate like it's the end of Return of the Jedi, and the commentators crow about WCW being back on top.

Wrestlemania 7 or 30. So many things about 30 felt like an end to the stories of the stars of the Hulkamania era.

In general for all of pro wrestling I would agree with WM17.
For a specific promotion, the first One Night Stand was about the most perfect Final Episode a pro wrestling promotion could possibly have.
