I'm curious to see what the result will be like. Obvious choices are Bret and Shawn, but as time has gone on. Some people have appreciated other stars more from this era.
So if you could take one star in the prime from 1993-1996 which star is it going to be? The key is, if you vote Steve Austin, it's 1996 Ringmaster or 1996-97 Austin version. Not his peak character. So Rock is as Rocky Maivia and you build him up today.

I voted for Vader just because Vader vs. GUNTHER would be f***ing insane.

I voted for Vader just because Vader vs. GUNTHER would be f***ing insane. Not just that. Can you imagine the following: Vader vs. BROCK LESNAR Vader vs. Roman Reigns Vader vs. Seth Rollins Vader vs. Cody Rhodes Vader vs. Bobby Lashley To name a few.

I'll take Pillman.
The Loose Cannon character but just a bit healthier with his ankle had so much mileage in it.

1-2-3 Kid.
He was considered small in his day, but nowadays he probably would just be considered average build. He can't be that much off compared to a Rollins or, to use an AEW example, Ricky Starks.
I could see him having the IC title run he never got as either Kid or X-Pac if he was around now in his prime.

Shamrock. He’d probably be better suited today. In-ring, he’d excel with the modern wrestling scene. Great look and has a legit background but “gets it”.

BamBam face or heel. I just love the matchups he'd have today.

Easily Ken Shamrock. He'd get a monster protected push like Brock or Roman and probably be involved in some UFC crossover stuff.

It’s always Shawn for me but I would say Brian Pillman as a close 2nd & special mention to Mr. Perfect.

Owen I think tops the list. He was ahead of his time in ring and wouldn't have any trouble at all adjusting to the more current athletic style, his small size wouldn't hurt him with how much smaller guys are now, and he also had a lot of personality and was real funny so he's someone who they would constantly be figuring out things to do with.

God this is so tough. I always lean towards Owen or Bret. But then I thought of 1993 Yoko. But also as mentioned, Bam Bam.
Consider some of these matches:
Yokozuna vs Randy Orton Owen Hart vs Carmelo Hayes Bret Hart vs Roman Reigns Bam Bam Bigelow vs GUNTHER
And I’m gonna go rogue and add:
Undertaker defending his streak against Logan Paul.

Bam Bam vs Gunther was my first thought but I'd love to see him vs Seamus too. Or maybe Drew. Or Ricochet. Or Seth....

These type of questions are tough. If I pick a guy like Bret do I lose everything he did previously or did he just get like reincarnated back in his prime now as well? If I move him to today does that erase Bret vs Bulldog, Bret vs Owen, Bret vs Shawn, etc. or does it just mean he's somehow been put in a time machine and we just get more? If it's the second option I pick Bret.
If it's the first option, then I want to pick a guy who was really misused back then that would be better off now. In that case I'd pick a healthy and sober Razor Ramon. Scott Hall's entire career could have been so different if he'd just stayed off the alcohol and drugs. I'd also be interested to see what an older Jake the Snake would do today. Back in 1996 he was still only 41 years old. It was just a really hard 41.
