If he’s gonna be busy filming in Feb and March, should he do this? Have a wrestler (Theory or LA Knight) just keep talking shit and calling him out, then at mania they do it one last time and Cena appears. Except they get a full on match before Cena wins (and he NEEDS a win here, Legend or not)

They should've done Cena vs Taker years prior. It would've been a classic and could've even turned Cena heel if he broke the streak by ruthlessly destroying him.

A feud being built between two people where one of them does zero work until the match absolutely sucks
I hated that build and I hated how that match made Cena look even more

Honestly the way they did it with Taker and John Cena was NOT the way to do it. They should of had a legit build for the match because it’s Taker vs f***ing JOHN CENA. But the concept itself with a legend and a young guy that calls him out for a mania match is a good idea if they book it right

It sucked when Bray lost to The Undertaker in 2015 and it was even worse when Cena got his shit kicked in by The Undertaker in New Orleans three years later.
It basically paints the dude who loses was just an inconvencience for the other guy and a chore he has to deal with.

They were for the head guys on their brand for Years so it never worked out i guess. Besides Taker giving Cena the Tombstone at Msg 2009 during a Raw, they never had any real interaction on TV since 03 i believe. Then you had Rock vs Cena for two Years at Mania so timeing just wasn't there and honestly i wouldn't change a thing in retrospect.
