Punk is the bigger star I think and his return would be huge but if Ambrose returned that also means the return of the shield at some point which would be a double get for Ambrose.

Ambrose...I believe they would get more gas and money out of milking Ambrose as well as the Shield and eventually Renee than CM Punk...They truly didn't market him that heavy before

I'm much more of a Moxley/Ambrose guy, but Punk. That said, I don't really have any desire to see Punk back.

Ambrose if he had no affiliation with the Shield, Punk wins. If Ambrose ever came back, WWE would make them the #1 stable and re-write every single piece of wrestling stable history.

Punk would probably be bigger but Mox going back to being Dean Ambrose at this point would be lame as hell.

Punk easily. Not only is he the bigger star, but with all the controversy surrounding him and his exit(s) there would be much more surreal. For all of Ambrose/Moxley's grievances with WWE, he left on cordial terms.

I don't see it happening but a full grown Punk return to WWE would be absolutely wild. Never say never in wrestling and all sure, but that never really crossed my mind as a true possibility.

Punk for sure.
Moxley I don't ever expect to return for a full-time active run again, but his issues were merely with the creative structure as forced upon him by the previous management, as well as how Renee ended up being treated by that same previous management. There's a lot less to repair in that regard. Meanwhile, Punk has issues on a personality level with the guy that ended up being current management.

Moxley as i cant ever imagine him returning unlike Punk which seems like it might well happen down the line. I'm the complete opposite. I've always assumed Moxley would go back eventually. His issues were more with Vince's system than any particular person. Punk, on the other hand, has a hatred of HHH, plus Punk seems much less of a "forgive and forget" kind of guy than Mox.

Punk would definitely be bigger but I think Moxley is more likely. I think Moxley was just "this isn't for me anymore and I want out" whereas Punk is stubborn enough to never go back, and he hates the guy in charge.

Long-term? Mox.
