Other than winning the match of course. My friend and I were saying that Solo Sikoa is probably gonna have a good showing in this year's Rumble but was wondering what is the best spot to have other than winning?

I think eliminating the most people is more impressive than lasting and hour. Both are very impressive and the top 2 on that list, but I feel like you are doing more work eliminating people

It’s always good to last a long time! So I’ve been told!

Most eliminations. Kevin nash started his path to stardom when he cleaned house at the 94 rumble

Most eliminations. There have been some strange picks for longest time over the years, being #30 doesn’t really matter, Final 4 is good but there have been some random choices there, Kofi spot is the spot that you shouldn’t want because that’s all you’re ever going to do in the Rumble.

Eliminaitons is a showcase, but getting a workhorse 30+ mins shows the WWE *trusts* you. I'd go for the latter.
But then I always feel short changed if a Rumble is only in the 42-55 mins run. "Shawn Michaels went from number 1 by lasting 38 minutes, Bob Holly lasted longer a year later FFS!"

2022
LONGEST TIME: AJ Styles (29:06) MOST ELIMINATIONS: AJ Styles (6) 30TH ENTRY: Brock Lesnar FINAL FOUR: Riddle, Shane McMahon, Drew McIntyre, Brock Lesnar
2021
LONGEST TIME: Edge (58:30) MOST ELIMINATIONS: Big E, Damian Priest, Seth Rollins (4) 30TH ENTRY: Braun Strowman FINAL FOUR: Christian, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Edge
2020
LONGEST TIME: Drew McIntyre (34:11) MOST ELIMINATIONS: Brock Lesnar (13) 30TH ENTRY: Seth Rollins FINAL FOUR: Randy Orton, Edge, Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre
2019
LONGEST TIME: Seth Rollins (43:00) MOST ELIMINATIONS: Braun Strowman (5) 30TH ENTRY: Nia Jax FINAL FOUR: Andrade, Dolph Ziggler, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins
2018
LONGEST TIME: Shinsuke Nakamura (44:38) MOST ELIMINATIONS: Finn Balor, Roman Reigns (4) 30TH ENTRY: Dolph Ziggler FINAL FOUR: Finn Balor, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Shinsuke Nakamura
Looking back on at least the last five men's Royal Rumble matches, there's no distinct pattern in terms of which accolade leads to the most success. It could be viewed that if you get the longest time in the Rumble, you're going to be trusted with some of the most high-profile matches of the coming year, but those who had the most eliminations also had pretty solid years in their own right. It's honestly a total crapshoot.

Kofi spot is the WORST spot. Shelton Benjamin and Naomi used to do them, too, and none of them ever won a Rumble.

Most eliminations, look at how that accolade was synonymous with Kane for so many years. Anytime he entered a rumble, you knew business was about to pick up.

I would say most eliminations. Final Four isn't that impressive in that could get there by just virtue of getting a late draw. Obviously #30 isn't impressive at all. I guess it means more now in that they only give guys who are stars that spot unlike back in the early ones when they would have it be some midcard rando (Warlord, Adam Bomb) but still it's not an accomplishment. Lasting the longest I would say is big but at the same time you can lost a long time while being a background player and not doing much. That's why I say most eliminations in that it comes off impressive and it puts a lot of spotlight on who it is as they are always doing something in the match.

I don't know...
Most eliminations makes it seem like you helped someone else win.

Longest time in the match, IMHO.

Tough one for me as I think final 4, lasting the longest and most eliminations are all pretty big deals but I went with most eliminations since that seems to be the biggest indication of a wrestler getting a push sooner rather than later if not right away or already in the middle of one.

Does anyone even remember or care that Andrade was final 4 in 2019 or Christian in 2021?

Could be wrong about other people remembering it too but even if no-one remembers that it's still a big spot for me personally.

Most eliminations. Its always a big deal when somebody has eliminated 10 or 11 guys.
Final Four means nothing after the night is over. Does anybody even remember Ryback or Rusev lasting till the Final TWO? Doubtful.
Iron Man is good but you can't really build on it. If you have the most eliminations, you are put over as a dominant powerhouse usually

I think the Kofi spot has its place. Really, it's just an evolution of the "skinning the cat" spot. It'll get you in the highlight reel.
That being said, Most Eliminations and Longest Lasting is probably about tied for first place, since in a given year, one can feel like a bigger deal than the other. Final Four and 30th Entry both have merit, too, though the 30th Entry can sometimes feel like a bit of an anticlimax.

Ironman only meant something when there was a record, once Flair won it in 1992 that had little merit after that.
Most eliminations is good, but only if you get 7 or more guys out.
30th is completely irrelevant.
Final Four has slowly become more relevant over the years, I mean no one care that D'lo Brown or Brian Knobbs have been in the final 4. Yet recently it's always been upper to main event wrestlers, which is a detriment to the whole anyone can win it ethos.

Some great points actually, I would add in longest time matters if it’s 50 mins or more, most eliminations if it’s 7 or more as you said, and final 4 if there’s a story to it. Kama being in the final 4 in 1996, Big Bossman being in the final 4 in 1999 etc is completely irrelevant, but look at the final 4 in 1992, 1997, 2003, 2007, 2010 or 2018. Those were so memorable. But most other years it didn’t mean anything.
