So story goes Hall was going to WCW no matter
Nash got a offer and went to Vince to match but Vince said no, so Nash left
BUT what if Vince had matched it and Hall went to WCW alone?
Obviously there wouldn't be a NWO, I would think, where do you think Hall would have fit in as going to WCW by himself. What happens to Sting, since he likely doesn't become CROW STING..where does Hogan fit in? Does he keep the red and yellow? Who else gets impacted?

I forget did they know Nash was signing too when Hall first appeared? Obviously Nash appeared too I think like two or three weeks later but if they didn't know he was on board I'm thinking maybe they would've done something else with Hall. I don't think the hostile takeover angle works without Nash. He's way too important to that puzzle to do it without him and there's really no one else you can really put in that spot.
Instead I think they would've just brought Hall in as a upper card singles wrestler just simply wrestling for the company. I don't whether he would be a face or a heel. Obviously he was a face when he left WWF but I think he was needed more on the heel side. I mean I guess you could still team him and Hogan up not so much as stable but just two guys who are allies. However without the NWO and it getting so over I don't think Bischoff is able to convince Hogan to turn heel and he would just continue being the red and yellow babyface Hogan he had been for years.

I see it working similar to how they brought in Hennig. He gets a fast track into the upper midcard, probably as a babyface since that's what he was doing in WWF, and then he betrays somebody and a feud is born. Couple US title reigns in his future for sure.

Nash gave notice to the WWF on March 5. Hall gave his notice sometime in February.

Only Scott would have not been very effective. You needed Kevin to make the attraction work.
Scott alone would have just felt like another WWF guy gone South.

This is probably the timeline/situation where we see Scott win the top singles title in a promotion. Which I desperately wish would've happened.

I think you're all forgetting that Waltman was the first one who was going and the deal he was getting made Hall say, "Ask them if they're interested in me."

Waltman had to get released from his WWF contract to go to WCW. It was reported in the Observer at the time that Waltman was at the Hog Wild PPV in August 1996 but because his WWF release hadn't been granted yet, WCW couldn't put him on the show.

The NWO needed Nash.
I guess it would have been Hogan, Hall and Savage if Nash stayed in WWE.

Hall's claim there doesn't make much sense. He had already agreed to go WCW by the end of February 1996, Nash agreed to go in March, and Waltman was still under contract to the WWF in August, yet Waltman was headed to WCW before they were?

He'd beat Sting, job hard to Hogan on multiple PPVs to show dominance then down to the US title level, feuding with Flair and squashing workhorses. His demons would get worse as he's lonely and miserable, and he'd be fired, returning to a dying WWF to circle the drain with Waltman and Michaels.
