This was the original for WM 25 had Hogan not needed surgery or whatever the reason was. Would you have liked to see it? If Hogan's last Match in WWE would have been a loss to Cena at the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania instead of Summerslam 06 against Orton!

Would I have liked to? Sure. I do not have any use for Hogan nowadays for a myriad of reasons, but it would have held some interest as a historical oddity.

Cena would have had to do one of his best carrying of a match, because Hogan even back then really couldn’t move.
And there’s no way Hulk was doing the job. Even as strong as Cena was booked then he’d still take losses here and there, and Hulk more than likely would have his yellow boots firmly planted down on that.

Cena trying to drag a good match out of Hogan in 2009 would have been something to behold that's for sure
On a similar note, how weird is it that John Cena vs Steve Austin is something that's in the realm of possibility at the moment?

No. Simply cos even then Hogan could barely move back then really, Cena vs Austin I'd have been interested in, maybe even now since Austin had a match at last year's Mania.

The 25 Anniversary of Wrestlemania is 26, not 25.

I feel like if Hogan took the AA, he’d just explode into a million pieces like the crash test dummies toys

2007 cena could've gotten something good out of hogan, and hogan might've had just enough left in his body to give us something approaching a fun match

Hogan is held together by optimism, bubblegum, and bullshit.

Hogan and Cena were like Bruno and Hogan way back. Just too late

I feel like there'd be a bigger likelihood of the two tagging against a couple of heels. You still might get a "can they co-exist???" thing, but it'd probably just be Hogan hitting some clotheslines and Cena doing the lion's share, not unlike Hogan's TNA "matches".

I remember a rumor about this match happening in the fall of 2005.

I mean, without being ridiculous, it would have been an absolutely terrible match
Cena didn't get really, really good until quite a while after Hogan stopped having a real human spine to bump with
Cena would 100% be playing the heel in the match because Hogan couldn't have done it and wouldn't have done it so Cena would be having to get heat on Hogan
And it would have ended in like a DQ and a brawl with some anti-American heels rather than anything remotely definitive
