Ok I'm rewatching MMPR, and between Free Ride, Higher Ground and The most underrated Van Halen song ever, it feels so refreshing

The Digmon movie soundtrack has a lot of top hits from the turn of the millennium that are good bops.

Batman Forever has an insaneeee soundtrack, yet you wouldn't expect it based on the movie.

If you follow the "Track the Movies You Watched" threads, some people might remember (but probably not) back in 2020 I did something called "Weird and Obscure Disney+" where I would watch the strangest sounding movies that were on Disney+ at the time that I had never seen before and knew very little about. One of those movies was a 2011 ABC Family movie called Teen Spirit (not to be confused with the 2018 Elle Fanning movie of the same name). Basically the ghost of a high school's shallow previous prom queen returns to Earth to help a geeky girl become the new prom queen.
No it did not have Nirvana on it, that would've been asking way too much, but for an obscure ABC Family television movie that I doubt anybody remembers, it had a surprisingly strong soundtrack of contemporary pop hits featuring names like Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Pitbull, headlined by Hot Chelle Rae's "Tonight Tonight". If you were into music from that time period, it's like a weird little time capsule for it.

Even the music on the tv show rocked. One that was random at the time was the animated Transformers movie having a killer hair metal album for a soundtrack.

The soundtrack for "All This And World War II" is Beatles music performed by other artists... Elton John, Rod Stewart, Peter Gabriel, Tina Turner, Jeff Lynne, Keith Moon, the Bee Gees, Leo Sayer, and more.
It's a terrible movie.
The soundtrack is in legal hell and will probably never cone out again.

I’ve always insisted the Mr Bean film has one of the most epic orchestral pieces of all time.

The Al Pacino movie Cruising has some nice punk rock and funk tracks featured.
Jetsons: the Movie is kinda “meh”, but I always liked Tiffany’s soundtrack for it, especially “Home” and “You And Me”.
The Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps has an unreasonably good soundtrack for a movie that was maybe 1/4 as entertaining as the first Eddie Murphy film. DMX, Janet Jackson, Dru Hill, Case, Method Man and LL Cool J? Come on.

My two go-to answers for this:
Outside Providence. Forgettable dramedy movie (and the trailers misled us by saying the Farrelly Brothers were involved), but had a killer soundtrack of 70s rock.
Casino Royale '67. Totally cheeseball movie, but the score/soundtrack was awesome, being all Bacharach/David music.

The 1994 Street Fighter movie is a good example of this. The movie has become more appreciated over the years as a cheesy, unintentional comedy, but the soundtrack had a great lineup consisting of Ice Cube, Nas, The Pharcyde, LL Cool J, Craig Mack, etc. Hell, even that song by Hammer and Deion Sanders is a banger.
Another example of this is Kazaam. You had songs from Nathan Morris (of Boyz II Men), Shyheim, even some of those songs from Shaq slapped. Hell, there was a song from short-lived R&B group called Choice (which had Pink; yes, THAT Pink) that was good.

Dodgy early seventies sex comedy Percy. Ghastly film, but the soundtrack had "God's Children" by the Kinks, which is brilliant.

The Space Jam soundtrack had some bangers including Hit Em High (The Monstars Theme):
AKA: Busta Rhymes, Coolio, LL Cool J, Method Man and B Real proved you can in fact keep it PG and still hit hard lyrically.

The Transformers: The Movie.
A theatrical movie of a TV show based on a toyline that was already beginning to wane in popularity shouldn't have a soundtrack packed with heavy metal bangers, a superb electro-rock score, and a genuine Weird Al classic, but it did.

I will forever love & defend the Queen of the Damned soundtrack. The movie sucks but this soundtrack is better than that movie deserves.

I have never seen Steel (the Shaq movie), but I have heard a lot of negativity surrounding it. There is a side that kind of wants to see how bad it is, but I remember getting the soundtrack for my birthday and it slapped.
There were also good songs from Mobb Deep, Spice 1, and even that song "Strait Playin'" by Shaq was a banger. Hell, the R&B songs by Tevin Campbell, short-lived R&B group S.H.E., and some of the unknowns were good.
