Around the time that the WWE was "John Cena > Randy Orton > Everyone else" was when he should have stepped down creatively.
As for morally? People like Vince don't happen in vacuums. He was probably doing heinous shit people will never know about before he ever bought the territory from Vince Sr.
We wouldn't have had the WWF at that point, and then someone else steps in... but if you look at the wrestling promoter landscape at that time, they're all pretty monstrous people.
What I'm saying is... Vince is just an ever-present reminder as to why I feel guilty enjoying wrestling, sometimes.

There's so many times he should've have stepped down morally. I'm going with after the benoit tragedy for a slew of reasons
