Chagrers/Jags could be either a great shootout, or an entertaining trainwreck. Giants/Vikings should be great. Th other 4 games look like complete asscheeks. People seem to forget the Jaguars destroyed the Chargers during the season.

But I also just watched the Jags barely eek past a freefalling, beat to hell Titans team last week. So....who knows....

Seahawks at 49ers: Seattle puts up a valiant effort for a bit, but SF is too talented and pulls away late. 49ers 33 Seattle 20
Chargers at Jaguars: Jags beat them handily earlier this year. That said, feels like LA is a different team and The Jags barely squeaked in at home against a beat up, free falling Titans team. Chargers 24 Jags 17
Dolphins at Bills: Thanks for coming, Miami. Bills 41 Dolphins 17
Giants at Vikings: I don't believe in the Vikings. But I also don't know which Giants team shows. Home field is gonna matter here. Vikings 28 Giants 20
Ravens at Bengals: 3rd string QB vs the Bengals on the road? See ya next year, Ravens. Cincy 30 Baltimore 13
Cowboys at Bucs: The Bucs have had a really mediocre season. However....Brady.....playoffs.... Sorry Dallas. Bucs 27 Cowboys 24 (OT)

Chargers vs. Jaguars feels like the definition of "just because it was a close game doesn't mean it was a good game." Giants vs. Vikings should be an entertaining matchup, and never underestimate Tom Brady's ability to make a playoff game watchable, even as bad as the Buccaneers may be around him.

If the AFC championship is Buffalo/KC it's in Atlanta...

Seven playoff teams in each conference, combined with the added grind of a 17-game regular season, is really making for some lousy playoff football. We've had 14 playoff teams for two years now, and not once has the 7-seed in either conference made a game of it in their respective Wild Card matchup. 2020(2) Buffalo beats (7) Indianapolis, 27-24, in a game that wasn't as close as the final score would indicate. (2) New Orleans beats (7) Chicago, 21-9, with Chicago's lone touchdown coming on the last play of the game. 2021(2) Kansas City throttles (7) Pittsburgh, 42-21 (2) Tampa Bay dominates (7) Philadelphia, 31-15, after jumping out to a 31-0 lead. And this year we're looking at two more impending routs, with Buffalo facing the Skylar Thompson-led Dolphins in the AFC, and the red-hot 49ers ready to dismantle a Seahawks team that needed overtime to beat Baker Mayfield and a woeful Rams team at home. The NFL will never do away with it, because it makes them too much money in TV revenue and ticket sales, but these extra Wild Card games are just putting a bad product out there on national television. You're gonna lose your shit when the NFL does expansion and we eventually end up with a 20 week, 18 game schedule with 2 byes....40 teams...and 20 of those teams making the playoffs. Can't wait for when the West Newbury Fighting John Cenas win the Superbowl from the 13th seed in the NFC Northeast Atlantic Division. Their 7 games in the double elimination playoff bracket were lit.

In reality they'll do it slowly but why would the NFL not want to do that, if they can expand the season to mid August-March, all of that would add so much money to the league. There are still plenty of cities that can support an NFL team.

The NFL might be far and away the number one sport in America at the moment, but don't underestimate the damage that oversaturation can do to the product. Incremental growth is fine, but overwhelming expansion could do irreparable harm to the on-field product. Imagine going back in time and telling a baseball fan in the early-1990s that within 30 years, America's pastime would be jockeying for the fourth spot among America's "big four" professional sports.

The Bucs are outright a bad team this year. I expect the Boys, even with Dak trying his best to Dak it up, to win by 17.

I think the biggest problem with expanding the NFL is that even currently there isn't 32 starting QB worthy talents or kickers. Adding more teams just means adding more questionable QB play and a lot more botched extra points. The league doesn't need 8 more teams starting dudes like Huntley or Joe Flacco. Let alone what that would mean for the quality of backup Qb's. Tebow would still be in the league as some 3rd string hack if there was 40 teams.

It would just amplify good coaching/front offices vs the bad ones. I'm pretty sure the thought process is college football supports 100+ division 1 teams, there are enough vets who teams let go for money reasons etc that we can field more teams. Obviously it waters down the product but for the NFL it would just increase all of their revenue.

If the NFL expands(which they 100% shouldnβt) they need to go full ridiculous with it and partner with the XFL/USFL and use relegation like the Premier League.

I have a rooting interest in the Bucs sending the Cowboys home. So hoping for some of that Brady playoff magic if only just for one week.

I'm gonna make a bold SB perdition Bills vs Vikings round 2 electric Boogaloo. There meet up this season was some awesome football and I'd love to see a rematch on the biggest stage, plus 2 franchises with long suffering fanbases with one finally getting to be on top of the world. That's peak football and if the NFL was run like the WWE this would be the main event
