After a wild Wild Card round, we look forward to a divisive Division Round. Can Brock Purdy continue to beast through the NFC and prevent it from fully going east mode? Will the Chiefs and Mahomes bubble up again to the Conference Championship round for the 5th straight time? Will an AFC team actually hold a halftime lead? Find out 5 or 6 days from now!
All times Eastern.
SATURDAY
4:30 PM Jaguars at Chiefs on NBC
8:15 PM Giants at Eagles on FOX
SUNDAY
3:00 PM Bengals at Bills on CBS
6:30 PM Cowboys at 49ers on FOX

Next week should be rather predictable, both the Chiefs and Eagles should win fairly easily. I don't think the Jags or Giants have enough to pull off an upset.
I think the 49ers will probably win without much of a problem, but the Cowboys could do it, as long as they kick some field goals.
The Bills and Bengals might be interesting. I don't think either team has a major advantage over the other, but I'll pick the Bills simply because the Bengals O-Line has been pretty bad.

Chiefs should blow the Jags all the way out. Giants vs. Eagles should be a good scrap, Eagles should win though. Bengals vs. Bills will be an absolute shootout I don鈥檛 see either defense stopping anyone. Bills will win by virtue of the Bengals OLine being cobbled together garbage. Cowboys vs. 49ers should be a decent match. 49ers will have the advantage unless Purdy shits the bed. 49ers probably pull away late.

I鈥檓 always pessimistic about my team, so I鈥檓 worried about Dallas. When they鈥檙e good, they鈥檙e really good. Niner鈥檚 D has been suspect for a few weeks now.
KC kills Jax.
Philly wins, but it might be a fight. Remember the Giants fought them hard with Davis Webb floundering about at QB.
Bills / Bengals is the game of the week. Should be a fun shootout between elite QBs. I want Bills for the Bills/KC rematch.

Some per-dictions. Went 4-2 last week, so it's better than last year.
Jacksonville at Kansas City Trevor Lawrence probably won't get picked 4 times next Saturday, but the hole that they'll be trying to dig themselves out from under will feel as such. The key to beating KC if you're not the Bills or Bengals is to hope like hell Mahomes comes out flat because if not, it's curtains. KC has a middle of the road defense, but it won't matter if Jacksonville isn't moving the ball and/or going score-for-score with them. It's definitely going to be a McKinnon/Kelce combo with the Jaguars trying to bottle up Phony and JSS on the outside. Bottom line is KC has too many weapons, and Khan's Khats won't be able to keep up. No WWE Championship for Shad and Tony this year. Kansas City 38, Jacksonville 20
Cincinnati at Buffalo Both teams come in a bit underwhelming. The Bengals went down to the wire with a Ravens squad that they should've handled, and the Bills went had to rely on a third-string QB and lousy clock management to secure a win to advance on their end. Instead of the game's outcome determining on who has the ball last, I'm thinking it'll be who makes the least mistakes. Josh Allen is throwing funballs at an alarming rate, particularly in plus territory, and Burrow's offensive line is crumbling around him, along with a slew of other injuries. Before the Hamlin incident, it looked like the Bengals were going to have the advantage in that game, I think the same will hold true on Sunday. Cincinnati 31, Buffalo 28, OT
New York Giants at Philadelphia Too many things would have to go right for the Giants to win this game. For one, they'll have to find some way to KO Jalen Hurts. Second, the Eagles pass rush will have to forget to take their Centrum Silver before the game. Third, Devonta Smith and AJ Brown will have to be sucked into a parallel dimension prior to kickoff. Finally, Daboll, Kafka, and Martindale will have to call the game of their lives. If all of those things are satisfied, the Giants might have a shot. I don't think it'll be the ass-kicking the Giants got at MetLife a month ago. The Giants offense will have to leap out the gate like they did against Minnesota, anything less than that will lead to disappointment. Sirianni is a hard-headed SOB, but he knows what works vs. the Giants; Pass to set up the run. There's usually nothing better than a bunch of scroungy Philadelphians quiet in their own stadium during the outcome of a game, but it's not going to be the case Saturday night. Philadelphia 28, New York Giants 20
Dallas at San Francisco I'm gonna need the 49ers to go ahead and win this game, I don't want to have to root for an asteroid for the NFC Championship. Brady and Co. let me down in a major way earlier tonight and Prescott actually looked like a proficient QB in the big stage. No doubt, his cheerleading squad up in the ESPN commentary booth was there to offer him support. Both teams are going to have a big question mark at the QB position. Prescott is inconsistent and he's going up against a badass defense in SF. Purdy is inexperienced and he's going up against a badass defense in Dallas. Purdy has the better supporting cast of weapons on the offense, while Dallas can overwhelm him with pressure if the SF O-Line doesn't stand up. I generally don't believe in Mike McCarthy, nor that grinning skull that you might see up there in the press box. Samuel and Kittle for the win. San Francisco 27, Dallas 17

As awful as it is to say, something to think about Carl Cheffers gets the ref assignment for the Cincy/Buffalo game...many people think he's the leagues hitman as an official.

Everyone is doubting and disrespecting the Giants again and I love it. That is the way it should be.

The only thing I feel comfortable predicting is Purdymania and the 49ers making the Cowboys have a very uncomfortable offseason beginning on Sunday Night.
The Eagles/Giants game is getting overlooked. It will be tight. Something about the Jags/Chiefs feels odd. I dunno, Chiefs could kill them but the Jags have some spunk. Bills/Bengals? Shit flip a coin.

Went 3-3 in a surprisingly fun round one. Let's see how I do here:
Jaguars at Chiefs: I think Jacksonville gives them a fight, but just isn't quite there yet. KC 33 Jacksonville 24 7
Giants at Eagles: I want to go with the Giants in an upset, but home field matters here. Philly 27 Giants 17
Bengals at Bills: If Buffalo looks anything like they did last week, they're going to get their asses kicked. I don't think they're going to have another dud. HOWEVER, I just have a feeling about Cincy. Bengals 38 Buffalo 35 (OT)
Cowboys at 49ers: Should be a dogfight. 'Frisco is just a little too powerful. SF 41 Dallas 35

My picks went 4-2 last weekend.
- Kansas City 30, Jacksonville 14: Once they were put in a better position, namely not starting with their backs to their own goal line, Jacksonville's defense stepped up and made life difficult for Justin Herbert and the Chargers. So I think they are capable enough to keep Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense from lighting up the scoreboard at will. But I also don't see their offense doing nearly enough to keep pace with Kansas City all afternoon. As I said, Jacksonville is a year away, but the Chiefs are ready now.
- Philadelphia 23, New York Giants 19: If this turns into a rock fight, it should lean toward the Giants, but I think Philadelphia's overall talent - despite their injuries - should carry them over the finish line. I've doubted the Eagles all season, and at this point I'll probably still be doubting them as they parade down Broad Street with the Lombardi Trophy, but they have the edge in blue-chip talent that should get them past a game Giants team that has the mettle and toughness that usually prevails in January.
- Cincinnati 35, Buffalo 31: I agonized over this pick. You could tell me either team will win and I'd buy it. Cincinnati's offensive line is in tatters, but they held up well enough against the Ravens last weekend, and the Ravens' front seven is arguably better than Buffalo's, so Joe Burrow should have more time to operate. But Buffalo has homefield advantage and the emotional edge. If Josh Allen minimizes the mistakes that nearly cost them against Miami last Sunday, that could be enough for the Bills. But at this very moment, I'm leaning slightly for Cincy.
- San Francisco 37, Dallas 27: Despite Dallas looking like the best team in the NFL on Monday night, San Francisco is probably pound-for-pound the best team in the NFL. The only flaw is at the quarterback position, as we keep waiting for Brock Purdy to turn into a pumpkin, but even if he does - which he's yet to show signs that he will - they still have so much talent around him at running back, wide receiver, and tight end that they could carry him to victory.

If the Chiefs get the win, Mahomes will have defeated every AFC south team in a playoff game.

I think PHI/NYG comes down to if Lane Johnson plays. If he's out, the Giants win.

The Giants have to knock Hurts out and get that backup in the game and see if he can beat them.
