I don't know where the quote originated, but the first time I remember hearing it was on a Nas song ("You're da Man") so it always reminds me of him.
As far as Punk's heel turn, it was awful. I believe the story was that if Punk didn't turn heel then he would have lost the title to Daniel Bryan at some point, and it would have been Rock/Bryan at RR since they wanted Rock to beat a heel. I think Punk kinda screwed himself a bit there. I mean, working with Rock on PPV probably meant more to him than a sustained babyface run, but from a character standpoint, it made no sense and probably hurt his character overall.

Punk and Heyman was such a weird paring. Punk's already one of the best talkers in the game, the hell does he need Heyman for? it was pretty smart and very entertaining to do that. Everybody knew even back then how Punk was the one that Heyman always had his back, when people like John Laurinatis and others didn't like him according to Punk. Since Brock was gone after beating HHH at Summerslam 2012 there was nothing else for Heyman. So they did everyting right, just having Heyman holding the belt in the Background was pure epic enough. They had to know they would make this into a Punk/Lesnar Feud at the end... which we got and it was perfect.

Maybe I'd have to rewatch it, but at the time I remember thinking that Punk and Heyman didn't really have chemistry. With Brock and Roman, Heyman works because their characters are more reserved to begin with. While Punk being a "Paul Heyman Guy" was definitely a thing, both in real life and in kayfabe, I think it sounded better on paper than it actually played out. The Lesnar/Punk feud was great, though, I agree.

Ryback and Paul Heyman's sexual tension was like the only good part.

Heyman had more chemistry with Lesnar no doubt.. these two are the greatest dou ever or easly top 3. Heyman and Cesaro was more of a non chemistry dou.

If you can't box with God, just get your weird trainer friend to bite God on the arm.

10 years and a couple meltdowns later, the prospect of a 50 year old Rock winning the Rumble gets me more excited than Punk appearing anywhere for any reason.
