Road Dogg: Now I remember when the Ascension a few years before this happened. But I did not remember this one at all until I saw it pop up today as a 5 year anniversary reminder. Was this one too over the top?

This man once went running to complain to his boss that someone didn't say "yes sir" to his advice so Road Dogg's words ring pretty hollow to me.

Is this where Dax claimed he divulged personal stuff with Shawn beforehand, about his children or something, and then Shawn made him of him around the Kliq?

When you see this and you see the WWE tends to bury a tag team to legends at shows like this. I wonder who they will bury tomorrow.
Alpha Academy? Hit Row? The Brutes?

I wonder if he has bothered to ask himself how he'd have felt if the New Age Outlaws in '98 were being asked to make the Rougeaus look good before they'd leave and not return the favor in any way, shape, or form, if he'd think that was super cool.

Its pretty telling that Road Dogg was part of a duo that frequently humiliated and buried the old school team they often faced (the Legion of Doom) to get the former over, yet he apparently sees no problem with the reverse happening on a major show.

I'm sure he talks about other stuff on his show, but it's truly fascinating how the only times I hear about this guy's podcast he's either complaining someone didn't respect him enough, or balking at someone who wanted respect out of him.

No WWE lifer gets to say 'you took that too seriously' to anybody
It is tenuous for any WRESTLER to say it

It's telling that his former tag partner is lending his talents to helping a young tag-team become one of the hottest acts around while Road Dogg yells at the kids to get off his lawn.

It's even more baffling given he's a WWE employee and often shits on dudes WWE probably wants to hire.

The Ascension and The Revival were f***ing boring. I don't like Finn much either, but he was popular at this time, and he got to look good with them. They made it a point to try and keep a hot act that sells merch hot. I agree about the 'thanks' stuff, and Road Dogg seems to express regret here as well.
